WEEKEND RUN OF WINNERS CONTINUE’S WITH THREE MORE ON SUNDAY!
Sunday 30th March HOVE Report
After the four timer on Saturday night the kennel continue to turn out the winners with three more on the Sunday lunch-time card! Monleek Diamond – Lobelia and Watch Matt were the scorers today! There could be even more success before the days out as our hard working kennel team are on duty at Sittingbourne tonight!

Winners
MONLEEK DIAMOND had been off the track for two months and made a decent return to action last week. She produced a stunning performance in the A3 at 12-12 after a flying start! Very quick away with a 4.09 split the May 2011 daughter of Crash led all the way beating the Claude Gardiner trained Zulu Baran by almost two lengths. Owned by Miss M. Barton and Mr S. J. Barton Monleek Diamond clocked a fast 30.14 (-10) 30.04 calculated when winning for the sixth time at Hove. It was her 10th career win as she has three Dundalk wins and a Shelbourne Park win on her Irish card.
LOBELIA bounced back to form in the A6 at 1-12 when winning for the fourth time at Hove. Owned by Ross Banner, Ted Lloyd, Jim Reid and Dave Staddon the July 2011 daughter of Van’s Escalade was sent off the 2/1 favourite and showed early pace and led at the second bend. Although running wide on the run in she beat the Jason Heath trained Dacent Vieri one length clocking 30.63 (-10) 30.53 calculated. Kennel mate Swift Debbie ran well to finish 3rd in this race. She was quick away and led from the first to the second bend. She held every chance and was just over one length behind the winner clocking 30.73 (-10) 30.63 calculated.
There was mixed fortune for owners Debbie Williams and Mick McCrory in the A5 at 1-44 as their two runners finished first and last! WATCH MATT was their winner and the July 2010 son of Kinloch Brae showed early pace and soon led. He was challenged by the Seamus Cahill trained Get On Katie but held on well to win by a head clocking 30.65 (-10) 30.55 calculated. Watch Matt was winning for the seventh time at Hove and with seven Hall Green victories to his credit was taking his career total to 14 wins! Mick and Debbie’s other runner Mikeys Guest was 6th after suffering a rough race. He was baulked at the first bend and badly baulked at the third. Mikeys Guest clocked 31.35 (-10) 31.25 calculated.
How Our Other Runners Fared
Glenvale Rosie ran well in the A10 at 11-28 and although unfancied in the betting market finished 2nd! The 10/1 shot ran on well and was just over two lengths behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Hopeful Hawk. “Rosie” clocked 31.26 (-10) 31.16 calculated.
Judicial Babe held every chance and was beaten just over three lengths in the A7 at 12-41. Racing wide she clocked 31.04 (-10) 30.94 calculated when finishing 6th behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Riverside Fire.
Pretty In Blue was slow away in the A8 at 1-58 and was crowded on the run up. She was crowded again at the fourth bend and finished 6th behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Other Bishop. Pretty In Blue clocked 31.13 (-10) 31.03 calculated and was 5 lengths behind the winner.

KIZI was withdrawn from his intended Final
Norah reported on Wednesday that Kizi would be withdrawn from the Sittingbourne Sprint Final at 8-45 on Sunday because he was found to have a sprain that morning. Norah said it was not a serious injury but she would not risk him running!

Kathleen Burchell Mothers Day Trophy Open Race 480 metres
Athlacca Olympic (Trap 4) and Collinstown View (Trap 5) both found trouble in running in a messy race.
Athlacca Olympic showed early pace but was baulked at the first bend and crowded at the third. He clocked 29.99 (+30) 30.29 calculated in 5th place.
Collinstown View also showed early pace but was baulked at the first bend. He hit the rails and was baulked at the third bend and finished 6th clocking 30.12 (+30) 30.42 calculated.
