NO WINNERS FOR ‘TEAM MAC’ AT TODAYS HOVE BAGS MEETING!

Wednesday 30th April HOVE Report

Avit On Elsie was quick away in the A11 at 2-08 and led to half way. But the 7/4 favourite faded into 6th place beaten just over five lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Senorita Mandy. Avit On Bertha clocked 31.64 (-20) 31.44 calculated.

Judicial Babe could not take advantage of the drop in grade and was beaten around four lengths by the Ken Tester trained Tonduff Noddy in the A7 at 2-27. She was slow away and crowded at the first bend clocking 30.94 (-20) 30.74 calculated in 5th place.

Swift Messi continues to run well and put in another good effort when finishing 2nd in the A6 at 3-48. He was beaten just under three lengths by the Ken Tester trained winner Dubai Fantasy and after holding every chance clocked 30.60 (-10) 30.50 calculated.

On Your Lonesome was sent off at 14/1 for the D1 sprint at 4-27 which reflected his chance. He was quick away but baulked at the first bend and finished 6th clocking 16.89 (-5) 16.84 calculated just over five lengths behind the winner Solid Fairy who is trained by Paul Garland.

Sporting Tracey finished 3rd in the A3 at 4-47 but clocked a very decent 30.37 (-10) 30.27 calculated when beaten two and a half lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Dinner Panteli. Sporting Tracey is in pretty good form at present and racing wide held every chance in this contest.

Coolscart Hawk put up a good performance in the A6 at 5-22 when he was beaten just a neck and a short head into 3rd place! The “Hawk” was slow away and crowded at the third bend before running on to clock 30.94 (Normal) behind Guinness Ranger trained by Seamus Cahill.

Glenvale Paddy did not get the best of runs in the A8 at 5-38. He was slow away crowded and checked at the first bend and was baulked at the fourth bend. ‘Paddy’ was beaten just under six lengths by Claude Gardiner’s Riverside Kitty clocking 31.18 (Normal) in 5th place.

Cause Of Justice was baulked at half way in the A2 at 5-56 and was beaten six lengths by the Dean Childs trained winner Teejaysblackhawk. ‘Alfie’ clocked 30.62 (Normal) in 6th place.

Cellini was sent off the 5/2 joint favourite for the last on the card the A4 at 6-11. She ran well enough and was only beaten a length and a half behind the Derek Knight trained winner Questhouse Rocky. Cellini showed early pace and despite crowding led from the first bend to the fourth. She clocked 30.80 (Normal) finishing in 3rd place
