CLUB HITS 91 WINNERS AS CLASSY MOLLY WINS HER 7th RACE OF THE YEAR!

CLASSY MOLLY continues in great form after winning for the third time in her last four runs! The Norah Mac Racing Club owned runner was winning for the seventh time this year! The September 2011 daughter of Duke Special was baulked at the first bend in the A7 at 12-58 but ran on well to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Baran Knights a head! ‘Molly’ clocked 30.75 (-10) 30.65 calculated when winning for the 10th time in her career.  The win takes the Norah Mac Racing Clubs total to 91 winners!

How Our Other Runners Fared

Swift Messi ran another brave race in the A6 at 11-57 and was only just caught on the line! He led from the first bend to near the line when beaten a short head by the Claude Gardiner trained Baran Seattle. ‘Lionel’ clocked 30.92 (-10) 30.82 calculated in 2nd place.

Lobelia led to the third bend in the A5 at 12-27 but faded to finish 3rd beaten just under three lengths by Pocket Jacks who is trained by Claude Gardiner. Lobelia clocked 30.62 (-10) 30.52 calculated finishing just over a length in front of her kennel mate Ballymac Benefit who was crowded at the first bend and clocked 30.74 (-10) 30.64 calculated in 5th place.

Droopys Margaret was unlucky in the A4 at 12-42. The 7/1 shot was only beaten 1/2 a length by the 6/4 favourite Farran North (Jason Heath) after leading to near the line! Droopys Margaret clocked 30.73 (-10) 30.63 calculated in 2nd place.

Glenvale Paddy was crowded on the run-up and baulked at the first bend in the A8 at 1-12 and he never recovered from that trouble. ‘Paddy’ finished 4th clocking 31.39 (-10) 31.29 calculated some six lengths behind the Jason Heath trained winner All Wrong.

Swift Debbie was another of our runners to get pipped on the line today! ‘Debbie’ was quick away in the A4 at 1-44 and led to near the winning line before finishing 3rd beaten a short head and a head! She clocked 30.70 (-10) 30.60 calculated behind the winner River Trail who is trained by Wayne Wrighting.

Saturday 10th May HOVE Runners

Sizzlers Big Boy and Droopys Bertha line up for the A7 at 7-31 where the latter gets a drop in grade.

Sporting Tracey was slow away on her latest start. A better break and the drop in grade could see her involved in the finish of the A4 at 8-18.

Ballymac Kerry returns from a month on the side lines when she appears in the A6 at 8-34.

Fine Royal is a newcomer making his Hove debut for Dave Staddon and Ray Wheeler in the A5 at 8-51.

Longrange Denis makes his Hove debut for the Norah Mac Racing Club when he lines up for the A3 at 9-07.

Droopys Winnie get a drop in grade and lines up in the A7 at 9-41.

Lochys Blue Boy lines up in a quality D1 sprint at 9-57.

Cause Of Justice has found trouble in his last two races after his wins in A3 and A4. Connections will be hoping he gets a clear run in the A2 at 10-13.

Princess Jetta and the Racing Clubs Hanover Lady will appreciate the drop into a D2 when they line up for the Sprint at 11-11.

Avit On Elsie has good early pace but if leading can she hold on in the A11 at 12-12.

Coolscart Hawk gets a drop in grade for the A7 at 12-27 where kennel mate Judicial Babe avoids a penalty after her win on Wednesday!

The Racing Clubs Droopys Leonard recently returned from injury and appears to be in good form for the A5 at 12-58.
