AFTER WEDNESDAY’S FOUR-TIMER KENNEL ENJOYS A FRIDAY HOVE TREBLE

Our dogs continue in good form and following on from Wednesday’s success the kennel now enjoys a Friday Hove treble! Glenvale Rosie, Droopys Winnie and Cause Of Justice were our winners today!

Friday 30th May HOVE Report

Winners

CAUSE OF JUSTICE was winning for the seventh time this year when getting up on the line to win the A2 at 1-58. The January 2012 son of College Causeway, (bred by Noreen Power and Colin Mead), has improved all year! Sent off the 3/1 co favourite of three he was baulked at the first bend but ran on well to beat the Dean Childs trained Barnyard Clan by a head! Owned by the Jury Of Ten syndicate Cause Of Justice clocked 30.12 (-10) 30.02 calculated when winning his 11th race at Hove.

GLENVALE ROSIE is a regular runner on the card and has won a race each month this year! She continues to pay her way for the Rosie Syndicate and won the A10 at 11-42 when leading on the line to beat the Maria Collins trained Maybe Scooby a short head! The April 2011 daughter of Bexhill Eoin clocked 31.19 (-20) 30.99 calculated and has ten career wins to her credit all at Hove!

DROOPYS WINNIE put up a good display when winning the A6 at 1-12. The March 2011 daughter of Ace Hi Rumble was baulked at the second bend and crowded at the third before running on to pip the Seamus Cahill trained Droopys Banger at the post winning by a head! Owned by Norah McEllistrim she clocked 30.88 (-10) 30.78 when winning her second race at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared

It was so close to being another four-timer for the kennel as Princess Jetta did her best to slip the field in the D2 sprint at 11-11. She led to half way but was passed on the run-in by the Derek Knight trained Cameron and was finally beaten just under three lengths finishing runner-up! ‘Jetta’ clocked 17.05 (-10) 16.95 calculated but fared better than her kennel mate On Your Lonesome who was baulked and checked wide at the first bend and finished 6th clocking 17.44 (-10) 17.33 calculated beaten just under eight lengths behind the winner.

Glenvale Paddy was beaten just over four lengths when 5th in the A8 at 12-12. He showed good early pace but was baulked at the first bend and crowded at the fourth clocking 31.22 (-20) 31.02 calculated behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Loughteen Stan.

We had two runners in the A6 at 12-58 but neither could get in a blow behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Pocket Jacks. Lobelia missed the break and was baulked at the first bend finishing 5th just under five lengths behind the winner clocking 30.93 (-10) 30.83 calculated. Swift Debbie blasted from the traps (4.07 split) and led to half way before fading to finish 6th clocking 30.94 (-10) 30.84 calculated a neck behind Lobelia!

OUR SUNDAY MORNING HOVE RUNNERS

Sunday 1st June HOVE Runners                    (Subject to Alteration)

Our two runners in the opening D2 sprint at 11-11 have both recently returned from injury. Farloe Scolari ran well in a D2 sprint last Friday but Blazing Swallow could not match her decent trial time when she was baulked on her return to the track last Sunday.

Droopys Leonard runs in the A5 at 11-57 and does his own thing out wide but he usually runs well. He will be looking to take the Racing Club on to the 94 winner mark!

Coolscart Hawk was slow away and found trouble in running on Wednesday. He could run well if getting a clear run in the A7 at 12-41.

Ballymac Benefit is looking for a 17th career win in the A6 at 1-28. She gets a drop in grade to help her chance!

We have two runners, in the A3 at 1-44, who are both in top form! Athlacca Olympic has been clocking fast times in all his races and a recent Sittingbourne Open run could well light him up even more! Sporting Tracey is in equally good form, and has already won eight times this year, and she will be looking to follow up her win in this grade yesterday (Wednesday).
