Two Wins In A Week For Sporting Tracey!

“CAUSEILOVEYOU” OPENS HIS ACCOUNT AS KENNEL REMAINS IN TOP FORM!
The good form of the Norah McEllistrim kennel, ‘four-timer’ Wednesday and ‘Treble’ Friday, continued today with a Sunday morning Hove “double” courtesy of newcomer Causeiloveyou and Sporting Tracey who was winning for the second time this week!

Winners
SPORTING TRACEY was winning her ninth race of the year when taking the A3 at 1-44 in good style! Clocking the fastest time of the day ‘Tracey’ was winning for the 3rd time in her last 5 races! The November 2010 daughter of Blackstone Gene has proved a real money spinner for owner Mr K. Hazeltine and was winning for the 12th time at Hove! ‘Tracey’ is a tough little bitch and followed up her A3 win on Wednesday with a gutsy performance having lost the lead at the first bend after a quick break (4.11 split). She ran on well to lead on the run-in outstaying the Wayne Wrighting trained Bellinter Bear by a length and a half clocking 30.21 (-10) 30.11 calculated! This was a 14th career win for ‘Tracey’ who also has wins at Henlow and Galway on her card. Kennel mate Athlacca Olympic always competes at a high level and is generally involved in the finish of his races but he was badly baulked at the second bend in this event and he was unable to make a challenge. He was beaten just under five lengths back in 4th place clocking 30.59 (-10) 30.49 calculated.
Puppy CAUSEILOVEYOU a July 2012 son of College Causeway was having just his third run at Hove and he will have pleased his connections when winning for the first time in his career. He had shaped well in his trials and his owners Mr P. G. Tomlin and Mrs S. S. Tomlin will be delighted with his win in the A5 at 11-57. Sent off the 5/2 joint favourite he showed good early pace and led from the first bend to stay on well and beat the Paul Garland trained Newtown Skiptim just over a length clocking 30.61 (-20) 30.41 calculated. Droopys Leonard representing the Norah Mac Racing Club ran well in 3rd place. He was quick away and held every chance when beaten just under two lengths by his kennel mate clocking 30.74 (-20) 30.54 calculated.
How Our Other Runners Fared
Ballymac Benefit was so close to making it a treble for the kennel when she was beaten just a neck in the A6 at 1-28. She was crowded at the first bend and outpaced early but finished strongly coming from sixth place off the last bend to finish runner-up to the Paul Garland trained winner Senor Merv. Ballymac Benefit clocked 30.65 (-10) 30.55 calculated in 2nd place.
Coolscart Hawk will be winning soon! He has been performing well and just needs a little luck to return to winning ways. He was crowded at the first bend in the A7 at 12-41 but was beaten less than a length by the Jason Heath trained winner Dacent Thelma. The ‘Hawk’ clocked 30.73 (-10) 30.63 in 4th place!
Farloe Scolari railed well and held every chance but was beaten just over six lengths by Seamus Cahill’s easy winner Rexanator in the opening D2 sprint at 11-11. Farloe Scolari clocked 17.16 (-10) 17.06 calculated finishing in 4th place. Blazing Swallow was beaten a distance in this race after being bumped and falling at the first bend! She will be fully checked over on her return to the kennel this afternoon.
