‘ROSEGARLAND JEDI’ REMAINS IN GREAT FORM!

ROSEGARLAND JEDI – his 11th win at Hove!

ROSEGARLAND JEDI made it 3 wins from his last 6 runs when leading from 1/2 way to beat the Jason Heath trained Droopys Court by one and a half lengths on the 3rd May! Continuing in fine form the November 15 son of Scolari Me Daddy was back on the winners rostrum again today! Sent off a 3/1 chance for the B1 at 10-36 he led at the 3rd bend and stayed on well to beat the Jason Heath trained Lemon Ollie by just over a length! Owned by Anthony O’Shaughnessy, Mike Owens and Ivor Stocker ‘Rosegarland Jedi’ clocked 28.79 (Normal) when winning his 11th race at Hove!

5th HOVE WIN FOR SIZZLERS SPRING!

SIZZLERS SPRING raced handy and led on the run-in to beat the Derek Knight trained Chasin Pavements by 1/2 a length on the 3rd April! Ending a run of three ‘3rd’ place finishes the April 2016 daughter of Sparta Maestro was a winner again today! Sent off the 9/4 favourite for the B2 at 1-37 she led near the line to beat her kennel mate Cals Madison by 3/4 of a length! Owned by the late Dave Cook and Joy Cook ‘Sizzlers Spring’ clocked 29.51 (-10) 29.41 calculated when winning her 5th race at Hove.  Kennel mate CALS MADISON was slow away and crowded at the 2nd bend! Running on well he clocked 29.57 (-10) 29.47 calculated when finishing in 2nd place beaten less than a length by the winner.

9/4 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 1-07 BALIBO RUBY was baulked when making her challenge on the run-in! Finishing in 3rd place she clocked 17.27 (-5) 17.22 calculated when beaten just over a length by Droopys Moscow. Due to race from Trap 1 kennel mate POWER MARY was withdrawn (Season) and was a non-runner.

SHOWBOAT ANNIE was 5/2 favourite for the B3 at 1-22 but after making a slow start she suffered crowding at the 4th bend and again on the run-in! Clocking 30.06 (-10) 29.96 calculated she finished in 3rd place beaten two and a half lengths by Killeacle Rankin.
