“I can confirm the news now available elsewhere on the internet that I will start as a trainer at Hove in the next month or so. I’ve enormous regret at having to leave Wimbledon as my family go back so many years in our connection to the stadium.

“However, it’s tremendously exciting taking on this new venture, working at Coral Hove Stadium. My staff are all looking forward to the new experience. All the owners I’ve spoken to today (hopefully everyone) have also been extremely supportive with this decision and we’re all looking forward to the future.

“I doubt that it will be very long before all the Norahmac racing club members and kennel owners take the opportunity to christen the Skyline restaurant and Sprinter’s  Bar.”
