Well beaten on her three runs at Hove just before the lockdown HOLBORN JEWELL got off the mark at the seaside track in stunning style last night! Sent off the 9/4 favourite for the A9 at 7-12 the May 17 daughter of Storm Control led at 1/2 way before storming clear at the 4th bend to beat the Wendy Short trained Dysert Rhythm by almost eight lengths! Owned by Norah McEllistrim and Mrs T. L. Weller ‘Holborn Jewell’ clocked 30.16 (Normal) when winning for the 1st time at Hove!

Always handy in the A3 at 6-42 our 12/1 shot SIZZLERS JOY finished in 2nd place clocking 29.87 (Normal) when beaten four lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Doorus Jet.

SIZZLERS SPRING was sent off a 5/1 chance for the D3 Sprint at 8-12 and after suffering crowding at the 1st bend she finished in 3rd place clocking 16.94 (Normal) when beaten three lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Away Vinny.
