Action stations this weekend…
Gino (Horse Outside) lines up in the 8.00pm on Friday, an A5. Berthed in trap 5, he’ll need a decent break or some luck in avoiding first bend trouble to figure in the shake up. That said, a trouble free run would put him in with a great shout. At some point in the next few runs the penny will drop – it’s not if, it’s when!
To add further credence to Gino’s chance, Gary ‘the mystic’ Maunders exclaimed to all who would listen last Sunday that he saw it in his crystal balls that Gino was going to do the business this week. Please don’t blame the messenger if our soothsayer’s balls are faulty.
Woody (Fleetwood Rocker/Mac) is entered in the Hurdles Open at Romford on Friday. It’s pretty hot event and Woody has yet to truly find his stride. He’s looking really impressive in himself these days – inexperience at the track is a worry but we’d be hoping for a decent run.
Open Race News Update
Norah sends a full van to Romford on Friday – and it should be a fun night for those of us who fancy a trip into deepest Essex. Lorrahs Best (7.30) in the Sprint, Coolavanny Honey (8.00) the Maiden, Pigalle Star (9.04) the Bitches and Droopys Cadel (9.52) the Standard, and not forgetting Woody, provide an action packed night for kennel supporters.
