‘ANNIE’ IS BACK TO WINNING WAYS!

AFTER SHOCK  –  Led all the way!

AFTER SHOCK kept on well to beat her kennel mate Droopys Roxy by 3/4 of a length in A8 grade last November but she has failed to trouble the judge in twelve runs since! A 9/2 chance for the A9 at 3-29 the April 15 daughter of Superior Product got back to winning ways! Quick away ‘Annie’ always led when beating the Jamie Kingsley trained Zenyatta by a short-head! Owned by Julie Hillier, Gaynor Renwick and Dave Staddon ‘After Shock’ clocked 31.32 (Normal) when winning her 11th race at Hove!

‘TOKYO JOE’ GETS OFF THE MARK FOR THE YEAR! 

TOKYO JOE  –  his 9th Hove win!

TOKYO JOE was last successful when beating the Jason Heath trained Harmonic Wave by almost three lengths in D2 grade back in November! Sent off a 6/1 shot for the D2 Sprint at 5-08 the October 15 son of Rio Quattro was quick away and always led when beating the Tony Taylor trained Carraig Molly by two and a half lengths! Owned by Jonathan Muller ‘Tokyo Joe’ clocked 16.74 (Normal) when winning his 9th race at Hove!

18th HOVE WIN FOR REDSTAR POPPY!

REDSTAR POPPY  –  showed good strength!

REDSTAR POPPY was quickly off the mark this year when beating the Ken Tester trained Punk Rock Hazel by 3/4 of a length in D2 grade on the 8th January! Sent off the 5/2 joint-favourite for the D2 Sprint at 6-02 the February 14 daughter of Kinloch Brae showed good early pace and led at the 2nd bend when beating the Seamus Cahill trained Get On Brig by 3/4 of a length! Owned by The Ray Churchouse Syndicate ‘Redstar Poppy’ clocked 16.88 (Normal) when winning her 18th race at Hove!

‘SKY’ IS THE NORAH MAC RACING CLUBS 189th WINNER

BALLYSTEEN SKY  –  His 3rd Win of the Year!

BALLYSTEEN SKY led from the 2nd bend and kept on well to beat his ‘brother’ Summerville Boy by 3/4 of a length on the 9th January! He was on the mark again nine days later when beating the Ken Tester trained Killeacle Rankin by a length! A 5/1 chance for the A11 at 6-19 the January 16 son of Taylors Sky produced another fine effort to make it ‘three’ wins for the year! Always handy he led at the 3rd bend and stayed on well to beat Maria Collins trained Dualla Whitetip by just over a length! Owned by the NORAH MAC RACING CLUB ‘Ballysteen Sky’ clocked 31.30 (Normal) when winning for the 8th time at Hove and moves the Racing Club onto the 189 winner mark!

FRONT STEP held every chance in the A8 at 5-28 and clocking 30.82 (Normal) she finished in 3rd place beaten just over five lengths by Millies Diamond.
