At Long Last There Is ‘Justice’ For Alfie!
‘CAUSE OF JUSTICE’ GETS THE VERDICT BY A HEAD!
Friday 3rd July 2015 – HOVE Report
Winner
You had to go back to the 29th January to find the last win of CAUSE OF JUSTICE and that came in a Hove Open race where he beat the Dean Childs trained Teejaysblackhawk by 3/4 of a length! The January 2012 son of College Causeway was off the track for almost four months after that success and he has been running well since his return in May without getting his head in front! He has been a close up 2nd on his last three outings but ‘Alfie’ finally got back to winning ways when beating the Ken Tester trained Len The Turner by a head in the A3 at 4-27. Owned by the Jury Of Ten Syndicate ‘Alfie’ was slow away but leading from the third bend he clocked 30.63 (-10) 30.53 calculated when winning his 16th race at Hove! He also has an Open race win at Swindon on his card!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Data Olly was slow away in the A5 at 3-28 and our 5/1 chance was further delayed when crowded at the first bend and baulked at the second! Data Olly clocked 30.65 (-10) 30.55 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten just under four lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Slaheny Valley.
Causeiloveyou was sent off the 7/4 favourite for the A5 at 4-08 and he too suffered crowding at the fourth bend! Causeiloveyou was beaten three lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Baran Kansas and clocked 30.94 (-10) 30.84 calculated when finishing in 5th place.
Glaise Spice was made 3/1 joint favourite for the D2 Sprint at 5-07 and showing good early pace he challenged from the second bend and was only beaten 1/2 a length by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Guinness Master. Glaise Spice clocked 16.86 (-5) 16.81 calculated in the runners-up spot! Kennel mate Watch Matt ran well in 4th place! He suffered crowding at half-way but clocked 16.97 (-5) 16.92 calculated and was beaten less than two lengths by the winner!
Sent off the 2/1 favourite for the A4 at 5-56 Zara Two showed good early pace and led to the second turn but in the end he was no match for Derek Knight’s easy winner Killorane Comet who came home just over three lengths clear of our runner! Zara Two clocked 30.75 (-10) 30.65 calculated finishing in 2nd place!

Kizi – Gets a drop in class!
Kizi was badly baulked when finishing 5th behind his kennel mate Ballymac Marine in a D1 sprint on his latest run. He had been competing in Open class prior to that run and the April 11 son of Big Daddy Cool could go well in the D1 Sprint at 11-11 if avoiding any trouble!

Swift Messi – Looking for his 30th win!
Three wins from his last five races the amazing Swift Messi is looking for his 30th career win!
