Wendy (Hanover Lady) seems none the worse for last week’s slightly below par run and is ear-marked for theA5 at 9.30 on Friday evening.

Oscar (Lima Oscar) steps up in distance to contest an S2, the 10.15pm on Saturday night.

Woody (Fleetwood Rocker) is recovering well from his toe operation and Norah reckons he’s only a week or two away from a trial.

Pigalle Star benefits from a ‘plot’ draw in the Bitches race at 9.04pm at Romford on Friday. If the veteran retains her zest she’ll give the trap 5 favourite a run for her money. Though a saver on the forecast ‘five to beat one’ may be a prudent move. Coolavanny Honey takes her chance in the Stayers at 8.48pm at the Essex track.

On Sunday the Kent Derby begins at Sittingbourne and club members are represented with their own dogs; Coolavanny Rock and Rally Town. Whilst kennelmate Zodiac Zeus takes his chance earlier on the card.
