12/1 OUTSIDER ‘JUDICIAL BABE’ WINS AT HOVE FOR THE 15th TIME!

Wednesday 7th May HOVE Report                       All races – Going:  Normal

Winner

JUDICIAL BABE was winning her sixth race this year when taking the A7 at 5-22. The February 2011 daughter of Hondo Black owned by the Burhill Buzy Bees (Gemma, Norah & Tim) was sent off the 12/1 outsider and racing wide she was always handy and led on the run in to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Clairkeith Jaden by 3/4 of a length. Judicial Babe clocked 30.69 and was winning for the 15th time at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared

Glenvale Rosie had every chance in the A10 at 2-27 and clocked 31.36 when beaten three lengths into third place by the Paul Garland trained winner Senorita Mandy.

Ballymac Dainty had been well beaten in her last three races and sadly it was much the same in the A5 at 3-07. Badly baulked at the first bend she was beaten just under five lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Dacent Lambert when finishing in 6th place. Ballymac Dainty clocked 31.10 on the normal going.

We had two runners in the D2 sprint at 3-28 but they were both badly baulked at the first bend and with that their chances was gone! Millroad Jessy clocked 17.33 in 5th place beaten six lengths behind the Seamus Cahill trained winner Guinness Master. On Your Lonesome clocked 17.42 in 6th place a further length behind his kennel mate.

Athlacca Olympic does not know how to run a bad race and although finishing 3rd in the A2 at 4-08 he ran another good race. Despite being crowded at the first bend he clocked a decent 30.14 when beaten three lengths by the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Lisdhu Budgie who clocked a very fast 29.88 (Normal).

Intayacynthia finished 6th in the A6 at 4-27 but clocked 30.56 which is a fair time for this grade. She was beaten around five lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Questhouse Aura who clocked a very fast 30.11 a time that would not look out of place in an A2!

Cellini has been running well recently and put in another fine effort when beaten just under a length in the A4 at 4-47. Cellini showed her early pace and soon led. Making the running she was collared on the run in and finished 3rd clocking 30.38 when beaten by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Beenleigh Munich.

Sporting Tracey was slow away and crowded at the third bend in the A3 at 5-07. She clocked 30.55 when beaten four lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Ashington Adam.

Avit On Elsie was quick away and led to the 3/4 mark before fading in the A11 at 5-56. ‘Elsie’ clocked 31.37 when beaten just over six lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Dacent Stride.

Graiguenoe Royal was slow away and crowded at the first bend and the 1/4 mark in the A6 at 6-11. He finished 5th clocking 30.63 but was only beaten two and a half lengths by the winner On A Cloud who is trained by Jason Heath.

Friday 9th May HOVE Runners                                  (Subject to Alteration)

Swift Messi was only beaten a neck on his latest run! He lines up for the A6 at 11-57 in very good form!

We have two runners in the A5 at 12-27. Ballymac Benefit has been sent off favourite for her last three races and was not beaten far in all three of those runs! Where as Sizzlers Beauty has found trouble in her last two races!

Droopys Margaret was baulked last time out and was well beaten. She has the chance to show she is capable of better in the A4 at 12-42.

The Racing Clubs Classy Molly was a winning favourite last time and is up in grade for the A7 at 12-58 but she is running well!

Glenvale Paddy will be looking for his 17th career win in the A8 at 1-12.

Mikeys Guest notched up a “double” in mid April and has not been disgraced in his last two runs in higher grade. Connections will be hoping for a return to winning ways in the A4 at 1-44.

THE WILLIAM HILL GREYHOUND DERBY 2nd ROUND

GLENVALE STEVIE Races on Friday Night

Glenvale Stevie will have to trap well and lead into the first bend, as he did last Friday, to try and hold off some talented runners in his 2nd Round Heat of the William Hill Greyhound Derby. A bit of first bend crowding in behind would help his chance of qualification against strong opposition from the powerful kennels of Paul Young, Rab & Liz McNair, Paul Hennessy and Seamus Cahill.
