‘Bisto’ Serves Up A Lunch-Time Treat!

HOTIPP led at the fourth bend and ran on well to beat Fridays Gain by 1/2 a length in an A5 on the 11th May. The June 12 son of Hondo Black clocked 30.47 (Normal) and was put up in grade for an A4 on the 22nd May. Clocking a very decent 30.14 calculated ‘Bisto’ followed up that win when beating Nowhere Man by almost seven lengths! He again defied the rise in grade for the A4 at 12-41 today and completed the ‘hat-trick’ in style! A 5/1 chance he was quick away and always led when beating the Claude Gardiner trained Claikeith Tilda by a length and a half! Owned by Spencer Staunton ‘Bisto’ clocked a very decent 30.25 (-10) 30.15 calculated when winning his 8th race at Hove!

‘Kilcommon’ Pops Up At 8/1
On Hove Return!

KILCOMMON last raced when finishing 6th to Who Needs Hope in A9 grade on the 24th April. The August 13 son of Vans Escalade clocked 31.11 calculated in a solo Trial over 515 metres on the 27th May and returned from injury for the A10 at 1-58. Sent off the 8/1 outsider he made a winning comeback when leading all the way to beat the Derek Knight trained Miss Jolly just over a length! Owned by Ray Wheeler & Norah McEllistrim Kilcommon clocked 31.14 (Normal) when winning for the 6th time at Hove! Kennel mate FLACKWELL SPIRIT was 9/4 favourite for an A10 on his latest outing where he led to the run-in and clocked 30.85 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten just 1/2 a length by Hop Out Biscotti. The June 14 son of Taylors Sky was the 6/4 favourite today but after making a slow start he could only manage to finish in 3rd place clocking 31.32 (Normal) when beaten just over two lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

GRISEDALE GIRL clocked 17.10 calculated when finishing 6th behind Get On Speedy in D1 grade on the 21st May. The April 13 daughter of Timor Blue was given a drop in grade for a D2 Sprint on the 27th May where she ran well clocking 16.70 calculated when finishing a length 2nd to Swift Danny. She was made 7/4 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 12-12 and despite first bend crowding she ran on well to finish 2nd to the Paul Garland trained winner Dalcash Jangle. Clocking 16.78 (-5) 16.73 calculated she was beaten just 3/4 of a length by the winner. Kennel mate AVIT ON CHARLIE  was always in rear and clocked 17.10 calculated when finishing 6th beaten just under seven lengths by Itallworksout in a D2 Sprint on the 7th May. The April 12 son of Tubbertelly Dubh had since clocked 16.49 (Normal) in a solo Sprint Trial over 273 metres at Wimbledon on the 25th May and was an 8/1 chance today. He was slow away and suffered crowding at the first and second bends and clocked 17.04 (-5) 16.99 calculated when finishing in 4th place four lengths behind the winner.
