CABRIOL ARAMIS was in graded action for a D1 Sprint on the 17th September after two recent Open runs at Hove. Sent off the 9/4 joint-favourite he challenged strongly on the run-in clocking 16.67 (Normal) when finishing in 2nd place failing by just a ‘neck’ to peg back Whileyouwait. The May 14 son of Blonde Snapper owned by Mr W. H. Churchman clocked 24.43 calculated when beating Balibo Mags a ‘short-head’ in a 2-dog Trial over 400 metres at Romford on the 20th September. He was a 5/1 chance for a D1 Sprint at Hove last Saturday where he suffered ‘trouble’ in running and clocked 16.93 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten almost six lengths by Lemon Arthur. Cabriol Aramis was back at Romford for the GET CONNECTED WITH THE CORAL CONNECT CARD MAIDENS Open race at 9-40 last night but he was unable to improve on his promising trial. Bumped at the first bend he clocked 24.82 calculated when finishing in 3rd place and was beaten seven and a half lengths by the Philip Simmonds trained winner Civility Counts.

ANOTHER ME

ANOTHER ME showed good early pace and led at the first bend when holding on to beat Sporting Falcao by a short-head in A3 grade on the 17th September! The February 14 son of Shaneboy Lee clocked 30.24 (Normal) when winning his 9th race at Hove and stepped up to Open company for Heat 1 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 – MAIDEN 475 competition needing a first three finish to make the Final! Sadly ‘Monty’ found ‘trouble’ in running and finished in 4th place clocking 28.87 (Normal) when beaten over eleven lengths by Ballinakil Biddy but he is up in grade for the A2 at 7-46.

REDSTAR POPPY clocked 16.93 (Normal) when finishing 4th beaten two and a half lengths by Roses Risk in a D2 Sprint on the 16th July. The February 14 daughter of Kinlock Brae clocked 16.78 calculated in a Solo Trial over 285 metres at Hove on the 19th September and she returns from injury to run in the D2 Sprint at 8-34.

TIMBERLEE LASS

TIMBERLEE LASS

TIMBERLEE LASS was slow away and suffered crowding at the fourth bend and clocked 31.67 calculated when finishing 4th beaten just over five lengths by Axil Tashadelek in A10 grade on the 21st September. The April 14 daughter of Blackstone Gene was a 5/2 chance when making a quick return in an A10 last Saturday but again she found ‘trouble’ in running! Baulked at the first bend and crowded at the second she clocked 31.35 calculated when finishing 5th beaten over seven lengths by Dower Tip and is given a drop in grade for the A11 at 8-51.

SIZZLERS HAWK has won 4 races at Limerick and the July 14 son of Vans Escalade clocked 30.73 calculated when finishing 2nd to Haliska Rubra in a 3-dog Trial at Hove on the 17th September. He bettered that effort clocking 30.41 calculated when beating Live It Long by almost seven lengths in a 3-dog Trial on the 22nd September and he makes his Hove debut in the A2 at 9-41.
