CHAIN LIGHTING  –  His 2nd Open Race Win!

CHAIN LIGHTING enjoyed his first Open success when winning a HOVE MAIDEN on the 28th March where he led on the run-in to beat the Alma Keppie trained Creamery Duke by 3/4 of a length! The  June 16 son of Droopys Jet has since won in A4 and B1 grade at Hove but he was sent off an 8/1 chance for the CENTRAL PARK SPRINT (Div 2) Open Race last night. Quick away he led at the 2nd bend and raced clear to beat the David Mullins trained Piemans Dash by three lengths! Owned by Jonathan Muller and Norah McEllistrim ‘Chain Lighting’ clocked 16.54 (-10) 16.44 calculated when winning his 2nd Open race!
