WINNERS
TIMBERLEE LAD – A 9th Hove Win for Woody!
TIMBERLEE LAD led near the line to beat Maketherounds by a length in A10 grade on the 30th April but the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene has been well beaten in two A9 runs since! Beaten four lengths when 6th behind Headway Charley on his latest run ‘Woody’ was down in grade for the A10 at 11-28. Sent off the 5/2 favourite he got back to winning ways when leading from the 4th bend he kept on well to beat the Richard Rees trained Take A Note by a short-head! Owned by Alf Benson Timberlee Lad clocked 31.43 (-30) 31.13 calculated when winning for the 9th time at Hove!

IT’S A “SIZZLERS” ONE-TWO FOR DAVE & JOY!
SIZZLERSCHEYENNE – his 20th win at Hove!
SIZZLERSCHEYENNE returned from injury to finish 3rd beaten just under seven lengths by Droopys Ed in a Hove Open race last Sunday. The August 12 son of Hondo Black was sent off the 3/1 co-favourite for the D1 Sprint at 1-12 where he led all the way to beat his kennel mate Sizzlers Hawk by just over two lengths giving his delighted owners Dave & Joy Cook a notable one-two! Clocking 16.54 (-10) 16.44 calculated Sizzlerscheyenne was winning his 20th race at Hove! SIZZLERS HAWK was another 3/1 co-favourite and the July 14 son of Vans Escalade held every chance when finishing in the runners up spot clocking 16.71 (-10) 16.61 calculated he was beaten just over two lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared
TWO BOB JOE was a 10/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 11-11 where the August 14 son of Tullymurry Act suffered 1st bend crowding! Clocking 17.14 (-15) 16.99 calculated he finished in 6th place beaten three lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Aero Saffron.
CASHONTHERUN was a 4/1 shot for the D1 Sprint at 12-27 where the August 14 son of Colorful Champ held every chance and finishing in 3rd place he clocked 16.77 (-10) 16.67 calculated when beaten just over three lengths by Caras Rosie Jean who is trained by Jason Heath. Kennel mate SIZZLERS APOLLO was also a 4/1 chance but the September 13 son of Droopys Scolari was baulked at the 1st bend after making a slow start. Clocking 16.78 (-10) 16.68 calculated he finished in 4th place beaten three and a half lengths by the winner.
MARCH ON MAX was a 5/1 chance down in grade for the A6 at 1-28 and although the October 13 son of Tullymurry Act found plenty of ‘trouble’ in running he still finished in 2nd place clocking 31.10 (-20) 30.90 calculated when beaten just over two lengths by Droopys Noon who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
DROOPYS LUNAR was a 5/1 shot for the A9 at 1-58 where the November 13 daughter of Droopys Cain finished in 3rd place after suffering crowding on the run-up! Clocking 31.19 (-20) 30.99 calculated she was beaten just over two lengths by the Maria Collins trained winner Racenight Elsa.
