FRIDAY HOVE REPORT
Friday 27th January 2017 – HOVE Report
ASSERT was a 5/1 chance for the A7 at 3-07 where the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace ran on well after being baulked at the 1st bend! Finishing in 2nd place he clocked 30.90 (-20) 30.70 calculated when beaten just over two lengths by Steves Aphrodite who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
BALIBO RUBY was a 5/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 4-08 where the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate was always prominent! Keeping on well ‘Ruby’ suffered crowding on the run-in and clocked 16.97 (-10) 16.87 calc when finishing in 2nd place beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Richard Rees trained winner Aegean Razl.
KILCOMMON was a 4/1 chance for the A10 at 5-07 but despite showing good early pace the August 13 son of Vans Escalade was unable to get a clear run today! Crowded at the 1/4 mark he finished in 4th place clocking 31.53 (-20) 31.33 calculated when beaten six lengths by Swift Shroud who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
FRONT STEP got up on the line to beat Suirview Boris by a head on her latest run and the January 15 daughter of Ballymac Eske was sent off 5/2 joint-favourite for the A8 at 5-22. Despite suffering all sorts of hold ups she did well to finish in 3rd place clocking 31.39 (-20) 31.19 calculated when beaten two lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Boomtown Nidge.
DROOPYS CYRIC was a 5/1 chance for the A5 at 5-56 where the November 14 son of Tullymurry Act owned by the Norah Mac Racing Cyric syndicate was always handy. Running on well he finished in 3rd place clocking 30.82 (-20) 30.62 calculated when beaten just under three lengths by Newinn Bucks who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
