ASSERT was a 4/1 chance for the A10 at 3-07 where the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace ran on well after making a slow start! Finishing in 3rd place he clocked 31.15 (Normal) when beaten two and a half lengths by Brinkleys Daisy who is trained by Tony Taylor. Kennel mate PALACE QUEEN was the 3/1 joint-favourite and the February 14 daughter of Shaneboy Lee held every chance! Clocking 31.16 (Normal) she finished in 4th place beaten just under three lengths by the winner.

FRONT STEP was a 6/1 shot for the A9 at 4-27 but the January 15 daughter of Ballymac Eske was slow away! Baulked at the 1/4 mark she clocked 31.32 (Normal) when finishing 4th beaten just over eight lengths by the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Imfootballcrazy.

SIZZLERSCHEYENNE was sent off the 2/1 favourite for the D1 Sprint at 4-47 where the August 12 son of Hondo Black held every chance! Finishing in 2nd place he clocked 16.54 (Normal) when beaten just 3/4 of a length by Fridays Angel who is trained by Tony Taylor. INDEPENDENT JACK was a 10/1 chance but the August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club still ran a very solid race! Although crowded at the first bend ‘Jack’ finished in 3rd place clocking 16.66 (Normal) when beaten just over two lengths by the winner.

TIMBERLEE LAD was a 4/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 5-56 but a slow start proved costly for the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene. Clocking 17.11 (Normal) ‘Woody’ finished in 6th place beaten three and a half lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Bobs Cookie.

An 8/1 chance for the A7 at 6-11 RACENIGHT DUKE was slow away and the August 13 son of Head Bound also found ‘trouble’ in running! Clocking 31.26 (Normal) he finished in 3rd place beaten just under six lengths by Get On Joe who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
