Stepping up in trip MIKASUKI was 4th to Zillah in A7 grade last Saturday. Sent off an 8/1 chance for the A7 at 10-17 the October 18 son of Over Limit opened his account at Hove! Showing good early pace he soon led and keeping on well beat the Richard Rees trained Black Edition by just over a length! Owned by Hants Racing ‘Mikasuki’ clocked 31.03 (-60) 30.43 calculated when winning for the 1st time at Hove!

BALLINTINE SMURF led on the run-in when beating the Seamus Cahill trained Get On Cupid by a head in a D2 Sprint on the 19th February! Beaten almost eight lengths by Jurassic Brett in a Central Park Sprint Open race last Sunday the September 16 son of Ballymac Vic was sent off the 7/4 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 11-09. Despite suffering crowding at the 1st bend he ran on well to beat the Jamie Kingsley trained Forgivemasins by a short-head! Owned by Mr A. Parfitt ‘Ballintine Smurf’ clocked 17.09 (-30) 16.79 calculated when winning his 7th race at Hove!

CALS MADISON kept on well to beat the Belinda Green trained Freeky Blonde by a short-head in A6 grade on the 26th January! Finishing last behind Kata Kia on his latest start the October 16 son of Paradise Madison was sent off a 7/1 chance for the A7 at 11-54. Leading at the 2nd bend he ran on strongly to beat the Jamie Kingsley trained Hulagu by four lengths! Owned by Dave Staddon ‘Cals Madison’ clocked 31.17 (-60) 30.57 calculated when winning for the 15th time at Hove!
