‘WOODY’ GETS IT RIGHT TODAY!
TIMBERLEE LAD – 11 wins at Hove!
TIMBERLEE LAD was the beaten 7/4 favourite when finishing 4th three and a half lengths behind Babyface Betty last Sunday! Sent off the 3/1 joint-favourite for the D3 Sprint at 3-48 the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene was always handy after making a quick start and leading near the line ‘Woody’ beat the Derek Knight trained Chasin Pavements by 1/2 a length! Owned by Alf Benson Timberlee Lad clocked 17.01 (-5) 16.96 calculated when winning his 11th race at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
PALACE QUEEN was a 4/1 chance for the A9 at 2-08 but the February 14 daughter of Shaneboy Lee was baulked from the 1st bend to the 2nd! Clocking 31.66 (-10) 31.56 calculated she finished in 6th place beaten just over ten lengths by Droopys Goodness who is trained by Jason Heath.
INDEPENDENT JACK was sent off a 5/2 chance for the D1 Sprint at 2-27 where despite suffering crowding at the 1st bend the August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club still managed to finish in 2nd place! Clocking 16.76 (-5) 16.71 calc. ‘Jack’ was beaten two and a half lengths by Brexit who is trained by Jason Heath. Kennel mate FLACKWELL SPIRIT was an 8/1 chance but the June 14 son of Taylors Sky was slow away and baulked at 1/2 way! Finishing in 5th place he clocked 16.93 (-5) 16.88 calc. when beaten just under five lengths by the winner.
DROOPYS ROXY was made 5/2 favourite for the A6 at 2-47 where after making a slow start the September 15 daughter of Tullymurry Act ran on well clocking 30.76 (-10) 30.66 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten three and a half lengths by the Maria Collins trained winner Northwest Bridge.
Sent off a 4/1 chance for the A10 at 3-07 ASSERT ran on well after making a slow start and finishing in 2nd place the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace clocked 31.06 (-10) 30.96 calc. when beaten just a ‘head’ by Kentish Luck who is trained by Jason Heath.
FOREVER MICK was a 5/1 shot for the A6 at 3-28 where the June 15 son of Tullymurry Act made a slow start! Crowded at the 3/4 mark ‘Micky’ clocked 31.07 (-10) 30.97 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just over four lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Janes Blaze.
HYNESS MILL was a 9/2 chance for the D2 Sprint at 4-47 but the September 14 son of Droopys Jet was slow away and baulked at the 1st bend! Clocking 16.95 (Normal) ‘Ron’ finished in 4th place beaten just under five lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Brinkleys Jet.
Although FRONT STEP raced in rear for most of the way the January 15 daughter of Ballymac Eske ran on late to finish in 2nd place in the A9 at 5-56. A 6/1 chance she clocked 31.01 (Normal) when beaten just 3/4 of a length by Swift Shroud who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
PALACE PRINCESS was a 7/2 shot for the A5 at 6-11 but the May 15 daughter of Godsend was baulked at the 1st bend! Finishing in 3rd place she clocked 30.79 (Normal) when beaten two and a half lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Dinner Nicosia.
