WINNER
‘BALIBO RUBY’ ENDS A LONG LOSING RUN!
BALIBO RUBY – is a winner again!
The last win for BALIBO RUBY came way back in April but the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga ended a 20 race run of defeats when winning the D3 Sprint at 5-38 today! Beaten just over a length by Drumcove Jar Jar last time ‘Ruby’ was a 4/1 chance but showing good early pace she led at the 1st bend. Strongly challenged by the Seamus Cahill trained Guinness Tiny she held on to win by a short-head! Owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate ‘Balibo Ruby’ clocked 17.16 (-10) 17.06 calculated when winning her 5th race at Hove! TOKYO JOE was sent off the 7/4 favourite but the October 15 son of Rio Quattro was baulked at the 1st bend! Finishing in 3rd place he clocked 17.37 (-10) 17.27 calculated when beaten just under three lengths by his kennel mate.

How Our Other Runners Fared
CABRIOL ARAMIS was a 4/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 2-08 where racing out wide the May 14 son of Blonde Snapper clocked 17.23 (-10) 17.13 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten six and half lengths by the Ken Tester trained winner Punk Rock Hero.
Sent off the 7/1 outsider for the D2 Sprint at 4-08 HYNESS MILL held every chance when finishing in 4th place. Clocking 17.13 (-10) 17.03 calculated the September 14 son of Droopys Jet was beaten four lengths by Sacred Act who is trained by Richard Rees.
The A7 at 6-11 which featured FOREVER MICK was declared a ‘No Race’ after the hare was stopped in the interest of safety.
