GLENPADDEN BOLT made it 3 wins from his last 5 runs when winning the Wimbledon 480 Standard Div 1 at Plough Lane last night! The May 2011 son of Droopys Scolari led at the first bend and hugging the rails stretched away down the back straight going on to beat the Ricky Holloway trained Its Showtime by three and a half lengths! Sent off the 1/2 favourite the Debbie Williams and Mick McCrory owned runner clocked a very fast 28.66 (-10) 28.56 calculated notching up his 3rd win for the Norah Mac team!

Razldazl Clyde faced some top novice hurdlers in the William Hill Springbok Trial Stakes Div 1 last night. On only his second 480 metre hurdle outing ‘Clyde’ ran well as he gains experience for a crack at the Springbok competition! He took a bump at the first hurdle and ran a little wide at the first bend but jumping well down the back straight he moved into 2nd place at the third bend. Making no further progress he finished in 3rd place clocking 30.05 (-10) 29.95 calculated five and a half lengths behind the Tony Taylor trained winner Razldazl Rambo. (Norah reported after the race that ‘Clyde’ had cramped)

Anmima Madam made a brave bid but failed to take advantage of the drop in grade for the A9 at 8-02. She showed good early pace and led to the third bend but was unable to maintain the run and finished in 4th place behind the Paul Garland trained winner Newtown Skipnula. Anmima Madam clocked 31.09 (-20) 30.89 calculated when beaten just over two lengths by the winner.
Fairhill Frankie was running for the first time since a fall in December and will come on for this race! He was slow away and crowded on the run-up in the D1 Sprint at 9-07. ‘Frankie’ clocked 16.88 (-10) 16.78 calculated in 6th place when beaten just under five lengths by the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Oonah.

We have three runners in the D2 Sprint at 11-28 where Swift Messi, Abbeys Zenyatta and On Your Lonesome line up!
Princess Pati runs in the A4 at 12-12. She has been a beaten favourite on her last four outings in this grade but will again have her supporters!
Speak Out Lilly is up in grade for winning on Wednesday and runs in the A5 at 12-58.
Release The Ace has been well beaten on his last two runs but was running well previous. Connections will be hoping he returns to form in the A5 at 1-12.
