Winner

GLENVALE STEVIE 6

Glenvale Stevie  –  Deserved his 11th Hove Win!

GLENVALE STEVIE has been running really well lately without managing to get his head in front! The November 11 son of Paddys Flame held every chance when finishing 2nd to Guinness Sun  and Your Decision recently! He was beaten just under three lengths by Ballyverry Sean on the 11th November and it was ‘heartbreak’ again on Wednesday when ‘Stevie’ was beaten a ‘head’ by Brother Harry in a three-way photo! A late addition to the D1 Sprint at 11-57 he made no mistake this time and ran out a very easy winner! Sent off the 6/4 favourite he showed good early pace and soon led! Running on strongly he beat the Ken Tester trained Vivendi Lewis by two and a quarter lengths! Owned by the Norahmacnuggets syndicate he clocked 16.59 (-5) 16.54 calculated when winning his 11th race at Hove! It was his 15th career win as he also has 3 Sittingbourne wins and 1 Drumbo Park win on his card!

How Our Other Runners Fared

LEATHEMS BRIGHT returned after injury for the A5 at 11-42. The February 14 son of Shaneboy Lee last ran when finishing 6th to Tyrur Arthur in A5 grade on the 3rd October but he clocked 30.49 calculated when beating Swift Andorra in a three-dog Trial last Saturday night! The youngster was always prominent today and held every chance when finishing 4th to the impressive winner Pollards Billy who clocked 30.19 calculated and is trained by Wayne Wrighting. ‘Wellington’ clocked 30.82 (-10) 30.72 calculated when beaten just under seven lengths by the winner. Kennel mate SATELLITE FEVER has been running well lately and followed up his excellent 2nd to kennel mate Independent Jack with good runs against Beachfield Blitz in A5 grade on the 7th November and Katusha Kid in A6 grade on the 11th November! The February 12 son of College Causeway returned to winning ways in A6 grade on Wednesday beating Next Customer by a short-head and was up in grade today. His chance wasn’t helped with a slow break and he was baulked at the first bend! ‘Tommy’ clocked 30.85 (-10) 30.75 calculated finishing in 5th place beaten seven lengths by the winner.
