The quickest two away were Murlens Crash (1.00 split) and Droopys Stig (1.07) and as they approached the first bend they shut the door on ‘Stevie’ (1.09 split). But brave as a lion Glenvale Stevie barged his way past the pair and set off after the leader Droopys Aldrich down the back straight. Showing brilliant speed ‘Stevie’ past him with ease and ran on well to beat the Tony Taylor trained Best Nick by three and three quarter lengths! The November 2011 son of Paddys Flame was sent off the 9/4 second favourite and he clocked a very decent 27.45 sec over the 450 metres after being held up in his run. Owned by the Norahmacnuggets Glenvale Stevie made it three wins from four runs at Sittingbourne and was winning for the 8th time in his career.
