WINNER

Although he was twice runner up at Newbridge GRANNYS DREAM didn’t manage to gain a win from his nine runs in Ireland. However the October 16 son of Newinn Yolo got off the mark at Hove on his fourth attempt! A 9/4 shot for a B3 in early August he led all the way to beat the Matt Dartnall trained Rewind Turbo by three lengths! Under the ownership of Norah for that success he has recently been syndicated and the win today gives an instant return to his new owners! A 7/2 chance for the B3 at 1-57 he was slow away but showing good early pace raced handy! Leading near the line he got up to beat the Richard Rees trained Wychwood Lady by a head! Owned by Michael Bailey, Norah McEllistrim, Mary Pledge and Liz Zahedieh ‘Grannys Dream’ clocked 29.31 (Normal) when winning for the 2nd time at Hove!
Kennel mate STAR OF ROBEEN was sent off the 3/1 joint-favourite and holding every chance he clocked 29.50 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten two and a half lengths by the winner.

Our Runners Who Made The Frame

SIZZLERS SPRING was a 5/2 fancy for the D2 Sprint at 10-51 but she suffered crowding at the 1st and 2nd bends! Finishing in 3rd place she clocked 16.84 (Normal) when beaten four lengths by Punk Rock Poet. Kennel mate AFTER SHOCK was a 10/1 chance and she also suffered crowding at the 2nd bend! Clocking 16.92 (Normal) ‘Annie’ finished in 5th place beaten five lengths by the winner.

Making his Hove ‘debut’ PAISLEY PARK was an 8/1 chance for the D1 Sprint at 11-36. Quick away he disputed the lead throughout and clocking 16.79 (Normal) he finished in 3rd place beaten just 1/2 a length by Get On Minnie.

SUMMERVILLE BOY was a 5/1 chance for the B5 at 12-21 where he led from the 2nd bend to the 3rd! Clocking 29.89 (Normal) he finished in 3rd place beaten a length and a half by Rhinos Rascal.
