Woody’s career reached it’s zenith for the club with a successful 2011 winter campaign, winning a series of A1’s at Wimbledon in their Christmas Cracker competition.

In the Spring of 2012, on his first outing at Hove, he landed an A3; the club’s first winner at Hove and on our inaugural night.

Our blue had a career blighted by injury and is officially metatarsally-challenged. A diagnosed heart murmur ending his racing career in June 2012.

A big favourite with Norah and many of the club members, he first retired to the farm with Norah. Subsequently he has been found a loving home as a pet – via our friends at Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare.
