A healthy and peaceful New Year to all members, owners, associates and readers from all at Norahmac Kennels

A brief review of the Club to date

In its two years existence members have celebrated FORTY EIGHT club wins.
HANOVER LADY has progressed to become a top grade sprinter at Hove and has contributed FOURTEEN wins!
LIMA OSCAR is a steady club scorer with ELEVEN wins.
HORSE OUTSIDE became the club’s first Open-Race winner when he bolted in at Hove at odds of 20/1. He has NINE wins to his credit.
FLEETWOOD ROCKER (now retired), SIX wins and DROOPYS LEONARD with SEVEN wins complete the wonderful tally of success for a club still in it’s early years.
Looking to the future and  further success looks guaranteed with MEMORIES LEAH joining the club.
The March ’11 daughter of Swords Prince, and a winner in Ireland, is already off the mark at A2 level at Hove. Norah has high hopes that this high class bitch will win decent Open races and develop into a competition class contender in the year ahead.

Update

Wendy (Hanover Lady) was a late ‘put in’ on Wednesday. An even money favourite, she missed the break, showed strong pace up to the bend but couldn’t make up the ground lost at the start.

Norah reports that Lenny (Droopys Leonard) is now being rested for a month or so – well earned I’d say!

So runners for the club are now comparatively thin though Leah (Memories Leah) will be trialing in the next two weeks or so, and Wendy remains on duty.

A very big welcome to our latest new recruit (of a human type), Mick  from Notts. Mick must know a good thing when he sees one – given he’s ‘come down South’ in order to extend his interest in greyhounds and greyhound ownership with us all at the Norahmac Racing Club.

Welcome aboard Mick – and enjoy!

Preview

Norah reports that Wendy (Hanover Lady) will be ‘put in’ on Sunday’s card. Looking at the provisional list of runners, the likely race is 12.27pm given that’s the only Sprint on the card.  Check on the day for trap draw and confirmation of the race.
