‘Heat’ Win Puts “Spiderman” In Hove Final!

WINNER
SPIDERMAN clocked 16.56 calc when beaten just under two lengths by Stellars Avenger in a D1 Sprint last Sunday and the June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay was sent off an 8/1 shot for Heat 2 of the HOVE THURSDAY 500 SPRINT Competition. Showing good early pace he led at the 1st bend and keeping on well reversed the ‘form’ with Stellars Avenger when beating the Maria Collins trained runner by 3/4 of a length! Booking his place in next Thursday’s Final Spiderman, owned by Mr J. Ford, clocked 16.48 (-5) 16.43 calculated when winning his 21st race at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
SIZZLERSCHEYENNE was a 16/1 shot for Heat 1 of the HOVE THURSDAY 500 SPRINT Competition where the August 12 son of Hondo Black owned by Dave & Joy Cook made a very fast start! Sadly he found ‘trouble’ in running and finishing in 4th place he clocked 16.83 (-5) 16.78 calculated when beaten six and a half lengths by Broadstrand Kiwi who is trained by Paul Young.
ANOTHER ME finished 6th beaten just over five lengths by the Nina Shine trained Rahyvira Ming in the CENTRAL PARK STANDARD FINAL at Sittingbourne last Sunday. A 7/1 chance for Heat 1 of the HOVE THURSDAY 500 WINNER OF ONE 475 Competition the February 14 son of Shaneboy Lee owned by Miss C. J. Vogt and Mr P. J. Vogt suffered crowding and finishing in 5th place ‘Monty’ clocked 28.48 (-10) 28.38 calculated when beaten five lengths by the Paul Young trained winner Batmans Aunt.
BALIBO MAGS was sent off the 20/1 outsider for Heat 2 of the HOVE THURSDAY 500 WINNER OF ONE 475 Competition where the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate made a quick start! Leading to the 3rd bend before finding ‘trouble’ ‘Mags’ clocked 28.74 (-10) 28.64 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten six lengths by Janes Escalade who is trained by Wayne Wrighting.
A 6/1 chance for the A6 at 6-28 RACENIGHT DUKE made a very slow start and clocking 31.07 (-10) 30.97 calculated the August 13 son of Head Bound finished in 6th place beaten seven and a half lengths by Shed End Chelsea who is trained by Jason Heath.
SIZZLERS GUNBOAT led all the way to beat Baran Mourinho by two lengths last time and was on a hat-trick up in grade for the A4 at 7-01. Sent off a 7/1 chance the September 15 son of Mall Brandy suffered crowding at the 1st bend and was baulked at the 2nd! Clocking 30.98 (-10) 30.88 calculated he finished in 6th place beaten just under three lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Baran Texas.
