HOLBORN JEWELL opened her Hove account when beating Dysert Rhythm by almost eight lengths in an A9 on the 4th June. She found life harder when put up three grades for that success but was a decent 2nd to Miss Rankin in A7 grade on her latest run. Sent off a 9/2 chance for the A7 at 4-48 the May 17 daughter of Storm Control resumed winning ways with a stylish victory! Quick away she always led when beating the Stuart Maplesden trained Sunlight On Snow by almost five lengths! Owned by Norah McEllistrim and Mrs T. L. Weller ‘Holborn Jewell’ clocked 30.15 (Normal) when winning her 2nd race at Hove!

A 7/1 chance for the A5 at 6-02 MALLOGS ANGEL was crowded at the 1st bend but running on well she finished in 2nd place clocking 30.10 (Normal) when beaten just under two lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Diamond Sarah.
