Friday 6th February 2015 – HOVE Report
Droopys Tomford reversed placings with kennel mate Abbeys Zenyatta who had finished ahead of the Norah Mac Racing Club newcomer when they met last weekend. Beaten two and a half lengths in the D2 Sprint at 2-08 ‘Rolo’ will have gained vital experience on just his second run and he looks like he could be a nice type. Baulked at the first bend Droopys Tomford clocked 16.95 (-10) 16.85 calculated when finishing in 4th place behind the Seamus Cahill trained winner Guinness Master. Abbeys Zenyatta was baulked wide at the first bend and clocked 17.11 (-10) 17.01 calculated finishing in 6th place four and a half lengths behind the winner.
Release The Ace was unable to take advantage of the drop in grade for the A6 at 3-48 but despite suffering crowding at the first bend he was only beaten a length and a half by the Marie Collins trained winner Swift Holly. Sent off a 6/1 chance Release The Ace clocked 31.09 (-20) 30.89 calculated in 5th place.
Any chance Anmima Madam had in the A9 at 4-08 went at the 3/4 mark where she was badly baulked! She was beaten seven and a half lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Swift Howard finishing in 4th place and clocking 31.37 (-20) 31.17 calculated.
On Your Lonesome was quick away and led to the first bend in the D2 Sprint at 4-27 but crowding at the 1/2 way mark prevented any chance of success on his 100th appearance! On Your Lonesome was beaten four and three quarter lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Get On Laura finishing in 3rd place and clocking 17.27 (-10) 17.17 calculated.
Judicial Babe had a rough ride in the A7 at 4-47. After making a quick start she was baulked at the first bend and crowded at the 1/4 mark before finishing five lengths behind the Ken Tester trained winner Anto Markos Rose. Judicial Babe clocked 31.44 (-20) 31.24 calculated when she dead-heated with Claude Gardiner’s Watch Me Wiggle in 5th place!
Miss McCann checked at the first bend and finished lame in the A5 at 5-38. She will be fully checked over on her return to the kennels. The race was won by Musical Black who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
Ballymac Tonya was well placed to make a challenge when suffering crowding at the 1/4 mark in the A9 at 6-11. It was a shame as she was only beaten two and a quarter lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Cinematic. ‘Tonya’ clocked 31.36 (-20) 31.16 calculated finishing in 4th place.

Swift Messi – remains competitive!
Sent off favourite for three of his last four races veteran Swift Messi remains in good form! Still enjoying his racing he won’t be far away in the D2 Sprint at 11-11.
Mineola Prof ran well in A3 grade last time and will appreciate the drop in grade for the A4 at 12-27.
Cellini is pretty consistent and usually prominent. Never far away at the finish she should again run well in the A6 at 12-41.
Classy Molly – 13 wins at Hove!
Classy Molly was having her first race for a month when beaten five lengths in this grade last time. Winner of 13 races for the Norah Mac Racing Club ‘Molly’ can’t afford any hold ups in the A7 at 12-58.
