Friday Hove Report / Weekend Runners!
Friday 27th February 2015 – HOVE Report
Glenvale Stevie won on his return last Saturday and put up another good show in the D1 Sprint at 2-08 today! He was quick away but crowded at the first bend and that trouble possibly cost him the race as he was only one length off the Wendy Short trained winner How Zat at the line! A 4/1 chance ‘Stevie’ clocked 16.66 (-20) 16.46 calculated finishing in 2nd place! Droopys Rives was sent off the 5/2 favourite but he made a slow start and was baulked at the first bend and his chance was gone! ‘River’ clocked 16.92 (-20) 16.72 calculated finishing in 5th place four lengths behind the winner. Our third kennel runner Lochys Blue Boy was crowded at 1/2 way and the 8/1 shot finished in 6th place clocking 16.99 (-20) 16.79 calculated five lengths behind the winner.
Judicial Babe was a non-runner in the A9 at 3-07.
Avit On Beryl was the 8/1 outsider for the A7 at 3-48 but she didn’t stand a chance in a rough race! Crowded on the run-up and at the 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 mark she came off worst of the situation and finished in 6th place! ‘Beryl’ clocked 31.38 (-20) 31.18 calculated when beaten seven lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Beachfield Blitz.

Classy Molly – Drop in grade!
The Racing Clubs Classy Molly has been well beaten on her last two runs and gets a drop in grade for the A9 at 8-02.
After four sprint outings Lobelia is back over 515 metres for the A7 at 8-51. She has winning form in A5 and A6 grade!
Sizzlerscheyenne – Should run well!
Sizzlerscheyenne ran well in a couple of Open Races over this trip but has been a beaten favourite twice in A3 grade since! At his best he would go close in the A3 at 9-07.

Sizzlers Eagle didn’t get in the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby but he will make his presence felt in the D1 Sprint at 11-11. Six wins from ten runs he has won his last four races and looks a nice prospect!
Speak Out Lilly ran well on her latest appearance after stumbling at the start! She runs in the A6 at 11-28.
On Your Lonesome has not won for some time and has been sent off at big odds recently. He runs in the D2 Sprint at 11-42.
Abbeys Zenyatta just failed to get home on her first attempt at 515 metres. She will again use her good early pace to try and slip the field in the A9 at 12-12.
