Wednesday 4th March 2015  –  HOVE Report

A slow break prevented Lobelia from taking advantage of the drop in grade for the A8 at 2-08. She was beaten two and a half lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Sister Bluebelle and finished in 5th place clocking 31.05 (-20) 30.85 calculated.

Sizzlerscheyenne got his trapping right today and was quick away in the A3 at 4-08 leading to the run-in! But he was caught close home by the Derek Knight trained Liosgarbh Maybe who ran on well to win by one length! Sizzlerscheyenne was sent off the 2/1 favourite and clocked 30.49 (-20) 30.29 calculated in 2nd place.

Sizzlers Big Boy, making a return to the track after injury, was very badly baulked in the A8 at 4-27. He clocked 32.12 (-20) 30.92 calculated when beaten around fifteen lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Gregs Nod finishing in 4th place.

Veteran Swift Messi put up another bold show today when just failing to get up in the D2 Sprint at 4-47. He rarely runs a bad race and thrives on his racing! He challenged the Ken Tester trained winner Be Of The Bang on the run-in and was beaten just a short-head! An 8/1 shot ‘Lionel’ clocked 16.87 (-10) 16.77 calculated in the runners-up spot!

Another of our runners returning from injury was Intayacynthia. She was crowded at the second and third bends in the A9 at 5-07 and was beaten twelve lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Swift Madonna. Intayacynthia clocked 32.08 (-20) 31.88 calculated finishing in 6th place.

Windy Warrior was sent off the 9/4 joint favourite for the A9 at 5-38 but crowding at the first bend did not help his chance. He finished in 3rd place clocking 31.26 (-20) 31.06 calculated when beaten two lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Woodcote Buddy.

Release The Ace ran well, holding every chance, in the A6 at 5-56.  Beaten just over a length our 10/1 chance clocked a decent 30.64 (-20) 30.44 calculated when finishing 2nd to the Maria Collins trained winner Dualla Flyers.

EIGHT RUNNERS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT HOVE!

Friday 6th March 2015  –  HOVE Runners

Droopys Tomford 3

Droopys Tomford  –  Rolo looking for his first win!

There is not much to chose between Fairhill Frankie and the Norah Mac Racing Clubs Droopys Tomford on times. Both line up for the D2 Sprint at 2-08.

Shyan Zippy was beaten just over one length on her latest outing and judged on that she could get competitive in the A9 at 2-27.

Avit On Beryl found a whole load of trouble on her latest run. She would have every chance in the A7 at 3-07 if getting a clear run!

On Your Lonesome, who has competed in over a 100 races, and the lightly raced Sizzlers Magpie line up in a tightly graded D2 Sprint at 4-27.

Classy Molly (A)

Classy Molly  –  Ran well latest run!

The Racing Clubs Classy Molly was a 10/1 chance on her latest run but she put up an improved performance and was beaten less than a length! Club Members will be hoping she can get back to winning ways in the A9 at 5-38.

Speak Out Lilly was a beaten favourite last time finishing in 2nd place. If running up to her best form she would go close in the A6 at 6-11.
