Droopys Tomford – First career win! 115th Club Win!
DROOPYS TOMFORD, who’s kennel name is ‘Rolo’, opened his account at the fourth attempt when winning the D2 Sprint at 2-08. The September 2013 son of Droopys Woods out of the dam Droopys Start is the latest addition to the Norah Mac Racing Club who now move on to the 115 winner mark with this success. Norah stated “Droopys Tomford is superbly bred with stamina on the dam side and he will be a nice sort when stepped up in distance in time!” Droopys Tomford missed the break today but ran on well to beat his kennel mate Fairhill Frankie 1/2 a length clocking 16.80 (-15) 16.65 calculated for his first career win. Fairhill Frankie had made the running and led to near the line clocking 16.84 (-15) 16.69 calculated finishing in 2nd place!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Shyan Zippy was beaten just under twelve lengths in the A9 at 2-27. She clocked 31.71 (-30) 31.41 calculated finishing in 6th place behind race winner Ballycanal Dan who is trained by Paul Garland.
Avit On Beryl stumbled at the start of the A7 at 3-07 and was also crowded at the third bend! ‘Beryl’ clocked 31.37 (-30) 31.07 calculated finishing in 4th place four lengths behind the Maria Collins trained winner Swift Batten.
On Your Lonesome got away smartly in the D2 Sprint at 4-27 but he was baulked at the first bend! He clocked 17.30 (-15) 17.15 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just over three lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Get On Laura. Kennel mate Sizzlers Magpie was baulked at the first bend and was beaten six lengths by the winner clocking 17.51 (-15) 17.36 calculated in 6th place.
Classy Molly was unable to complete a Racing Club ‘double’ after finding trouble in a messy A9 at 5-38. ‘Molly’ was crowded at the first and second bends and bumped again at the 1/4 mark! She was beaten six lengths by the Maria Collins trained winner Berkshire Hodgo and finished in 4th place clocking 31.52 (-30) 31.22 calculated.
Although she finished 6th in the A6 at 6-11 Speak Out Lilly did well to get within three and a half lengths of the Jason Heath trained winner Southern Calum after being baulked at the first bend and badly baulked at the second! ‘Lilly’ clocked 31.23 (-30) 30.93 calculated!

Viscount Rambler faces some decent sprinters in the D1 Sprint at 7-31 when he returns to the track after injury.
Listry Ace makes her Hove debut in the A9 at 8-18.
Release The Ace clocked a decent time when finishing 2nd on Wednesday. He should run well in the A6 at 8-34.
Sizzlerscheyenne – Ran well Wednesday!
Sizzlerscheyenne ran well when 2nd beaten just one length in this grade on Wednesday. Good chance in the A3 at 9-41.
Athlacca Olympic – Runs in A2 grade!
Athlacca Olympic returns from injury but has a difficult task having been put straight back into A2 grade at 10-13.
