OUR NINE RUNNERS ON THE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON HOVE CARD!

Wednesday 7th October 2015  –  HOVE Runners

Swift Messi (Lionel)

Swift Messi

SWIFT MESSI finished runner-up for the 62nd time in his career when beaten just a ‘short-head’ by Newtown Sophie on the 23rd September. Lining up for his 194th race the September 09 son of Hondo Black then finished 4th to Flatcap Man on his latest outing! ‘Lionel’ now lines up for the D2 Sprint at 2-08.

LISTRY ACE was well beaten by Historic Rogue on her return to action on the 16th September but the October 12 daughter of Kinloch Brae then won her next two races! Having beaten Baby Blueberry by two lengths on the 27th September she then defied the rise in grade to beat Clever Buddy by a Head in A8 grade last Wednesday! Listry Ace is on a ‘three-timer’ now up in grade for the A7 at 2-27.

RELEASE THE ACE ended a long losing run with victory in A8 grade on 16th September! The April 12 son of Ace Hi Rumble has been beaten on his next three runs the latest when finding trouble behind Oneco Natasha last Wednesday. Release The Ace runs in the A8 at 2-47.

Windy Warrior 1

Windy Warrior

WINDY WARRIOR was a close 3rd to kennel mate Avit On Elsie on the 20th September and the March 13 son of Windy Millar has then finished close up on his next two runs! Beaten a ‘neck’ by Historic Rogue he was then beaten just over two lengths by Oneco Natasha when 2nd last Wednesday! He should have every chance in the A8 at 3-28.

MINEOLA PROF clocked a brilliant 30.22 when beating Beardy Bess by three and a quarter lengths in A5 grade on the 16th September. Up in grade he followed up in fine style when beating Numero Oonah by a neck! Escaping a further penalty for an A4 last Wednesday he ran another good race when beaten a length by Coolykereen Bank. Mineola Prof is in good form and should run well in the A4 at 3-48.

DATA OLLY

Data Olly

DATA OLLY ran on well to beat Droopys Maria by 1/2 a length in A5 grade on the 25th September! The June 2013 son of Head Bound escaped a penalty for his next outing and despite making a slow start he was only beaten 3/4 of a length, by dead-heaters Swift Danny and Awbeg Lady, clocking an excellent 30.35 calculated when finishing in 5th place. On that sort of form he has a good chance in the A5 at 4-27.

DROOPYS RIVES won a D2 Sprint beating Newtown Sophie in 16.52 calculated on the 28th August. He wasn’t beaten far in three D1 outings after and was up in trip in Open class on his latest outing! The July 13 son of Westmead Hawk was sent off the 25/1 outsider when finishing 6th to Swift Botha. He runs in the D1 Sprint at 5-07.

AVIT ON BERYL finished 3rd to Ashgrove Jet, after finding ‘trouble’ in running, when returning from a long break! The May 12 daughter of Farley Turbo was given a drop in grade for an A9 last Friday but she again found ‘trouble’ and was beaten seven lengths by Flat Out Fagan. She needs to find a clear passage in the A9 at 5-38.

CAUSEILOVEYOU got back to winning ways in A6 grade on the 8th August but the July 12 son of College Causeway has failed to add to that success despite running well on several occasions since! He ran another good race in A6 grade on the 23rd September finishing in 3rd place beaten two and a half lengths by Swift Nemo and he ran another great race in an A6  last Thursday when beaten just a short-head by Ragna.
