WINNER

ROSEGARLAND JEDI  –  his 1st ‘Open’ success!

A winner in A3 grade at Waterford last October ROSEGARLAND JEDI won two of his first three starts at Hove! The November 15 son of Scolari Me Daddy got off the mark in fine style beating Allianz Park by almost two lengths in a D1 Sprint on the 3rd February. Just over a week later he followed up that success when beating Sacred Act by 1/2 a length! Beaten by Lughill Robbie in a Hove Open Sprint on his latest outing the ‘Jedi’ stepped up in trip for the CORAL.CO.UK Maiden Open at 8-54. Sent off a 5/2 chance he showed good early pace to lead and keeping on well he beat the Seamus Cahill trained Droopys Dudley by just over a length! Owned by Alf Benson, Anthony O’Shaughnessy, Mike Owens and Ivor Stocker ‘Rosegarland Jedi’ clocked a decent 30.58 (-30) 30.28 calculated when winning for the 3rd time at Hove!

‘JOY’ AS ‘SIZZLERS’ QUALIFIES FOR LADIES OPEN RACE FINAL!

Although making a slow start and suffering crowding in Heat 1 of the CORAL.CO.UK LADIES Open Competition SIZZLERS JOY still made it through to the Final! Clocking 30.75 (-30) 30.45 calculated she finished in 3rd place when beaten five and a half lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Clairkeith Ayana. The first three finish ensured her a place in next Thursdays Final

DROOPYS ELMA found ‘trouble’ in Heat 2 of the CORAL.CO.UK LADIES Open Competition! Baulked at the 1st bend she clocked 30.86 (-30) 30.56 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten just over ten lengths by the Matt Dartnall trained winner Droopys Polly.

Badly baulked at the 1st bend in the A3 at 7-18 the 5 time winner ROSEGARLAND MOJO was unable to make it a ‘Rosegarland’ double! Finishing in 5th place she clocked 31.46 (-30) 31.16 calculated when beaten eleven lengths by Outlier Maybe.
