INTAYACYNTHIA hadn’t been beaten far in three Sprint races since returning from injury but the October 10 daughter of Kryptonite was sent off the 12/1 outsider when stepping up in trip for the A10 at 2-08. She had clocked 31.24 in a solo Trial last Thursday but suffered crowding in today’s race and clocked 31.72 (-40) 31.32 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten just over five lengths by the Wendy Short trained winner Ajax Freya.

GLENVALE STEVIE is in pretty good form at present but the November 11 son of Paddys Flame hasn’t always enjoyed the best of luck although he held every chance when finishing 2nd to Guinness Sun last Friday. 5/2 favourite for the D1 Sprint at 3-07 he made a good start but was unfortunately baulked at the first bend! Despite running on well he had no chance with the runaway winner Your Decision who is trained by Paul Garland. ‘Stevie’ clocked 16.71 (-20) 16.51 calculated finishing in 2nd place beaten three and a half lengths by the winner.

KILCOMMON picked up a ‘double’ penalty after clocking 30.88 when beating Sparta Storm just over ‘four’ lengths in A11 grade on the 14th October! Up in A9 grade on the 23rd October the August 13 son of Vans Escalade suffered crowding and finished 5th to Flat Out Fagan. A 6/1 chance for the A9 at 4-08 he showed good early pace and led to the run-in only to be pegged back near the line! Kilcommon clocked 31.36 (-40) 30.96 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten two lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Lets Go Droopy.

DATA OLLY has been in decent form winning two of his last six races! The June 2013 son of Head Bound is not the quickest ‘trapper’ but the strong finisher clocked 30.63 when 3rd beaten just over a length by Invicta Justice in A4 grade last Friday. A 6/1 chance for the A4 at 4-27 he made another slow start and suffered crowding when beaten four lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Evanta Candyman. Data Olly clocked 31.04 (-30) 30.74 calculated when finishing in 5th place.

TREE TOP SOFIE made her Hove debut in a D2 Sprint on Saturday night where the November 13 daughter of Whiteys Hawk out of the dam Blue Aero was sent off the 10/1 outsider! After making a slow start she suffered crowding at the second bend and finished 5th beaten just under five lengths by Caras Rosie Jean. Sent off a 7/2 shot for the D2 Sprint at 5-07 today the youngster was badly baulked at the first bend and clocked 17.43 (-15) 17.28 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten five and a half lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Get On Laura.

LOBELIA was a good winner in A8 grade on the 10th October leading all the way to beat Flat Out Fagan by four lengths! Up in grade for an A7 on the 23rd October the July 11 daughter of Vans Escalade ran well to finish 3rd behind Shirleys Whiskey. Despite finishing 2nd in the A7 at 5-22 she was beaten just over four lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Ballycanal Dan. Baulked at the first bend Lobelia clocked 31.15 (-20) 30.95 calculated finishing in the runners-up spot!

TIMBERLEE LAD opened his Hove account at the fourth attempt winning in A11 grade last Friday! The April 14 son of Blackstone Gene out of the dam Langan Timber was sent off the 5/2 favourite and he stayed on well to beat Complicated Toni by almost two lengths. He was again sent off 5/2 favourite now up in grade for the A10 at 5-56 but ‘Woody’ made a slow start and suffered crowding at the first bend! He clocked 31.34 (-20) 31.14 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just under five lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Allfired Up.

EIGHT RUNNERS ON THE FRIDAY HOVE CARD!

Friday 6th November 2015  –  HOVE Runners

Windy Warrior 1

Windy Warrior

WINDY WARRIOR is never far away at the business end of a race and has finished close up on his last six outings! The March 13 son of Windy Millar was only beaten a couple of lengths by Capoola Dawn and Clairkeith Tilda on his last two outings and he shouldn’t be far away in the A8 at 2-08.

VISCOUNT RAMBLER wasn’t running badly in A2 grade and the June 11 son of Goldmine Ramble almost took advantage of the drop in grade he was given for an A3 on the 25th October. Sent off the 2/1 favourite he held every chance when finishing 2nd to Westmead Mustang. Viscount Rambler should have every chance in the A3 at 3-48.

DROOPYS HEAT made a winning Hove debut in a D2 Sprint on the 24th October! The February 14 daughter of Mall Brandy out of the dam Droopys Safina showed good early pace to lead at the first bend and kept on well to beat Get On Laura a length and a half! She lines up for the D2 Sprint at 4-08 where the veteran SWIFT MESSI will be in opposition! ‘Lionel’ is still enjoying his racing and the September 09 son of Hondo Black lines up for his 198th race! He has enjoyed recent wins over Farloe Comet and Leonas Rumble and wasn’t beaten far when 3rd to Maketherounds last time!

He was the 25/1 outsider for the THURSDAY NIGHT 500 SPRINT Open race last Thursday but suffered a very bad bump at the first bend when finishing 5th beaten eleven lengths by the Kevin Hutton trained winner Dragon Big Bux. Calm Precision should have a much better chance in the D1 Sprint at 4-47.

BARNISH PETER returned from injury for an A7 on the 21st October and finished a six lengths 2nd to Katusha Kid. The February 12 son of Top Honcho was sent off 5/2 joint favourite for an A7 on his next outing but found trouble in running when finishing 4th to Oakfront Sherry. He runs in the A7 at 5-22 where his connections will be hoping for a clear run!
