WINNER
SIZZLERS APOLLO enjoyed an A8 win over Glencorbry Cara on the 14th August and an A7 win over Maireads Mist on the 19th August! The September 13 son of Droopys Scolari was raised in grade and led all the way clocking 30.52 calculated when beating Nods Mary Sharp by just over a length in A5 grade on the 9th September! He was 9/4 favourite for an A5 on the 16th September where he led early but faded to finish in 6th place clocking 31.10 (Normal) when beaten just over six lengths by Starch Hill Sid. Sizzlers Apollo clocked 13.88 calculated when beating Spiderman by just over a length in a 2-dog Trial over 225 metres at Romford last Tuesday! He was a 4/1 chance for the A5 at 12-27 today and he got back to winning ways when leading all the way to beat the Wayne Wrighting trained Woodmancote Bert by a length and a half! Owned by Dave & Joy Cook Sizzlers Apollo made it 4 wins from his last 7 races and clocked 30.56 (-10) 30.46 calculated when winning his 9th race at Hove!

Place for Droopys Tequila!
DROOPYS TEQUILA was a 3/1 chance for an A6 on the 11th September where she clocked 30.79 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten four lengths by Maireads Ivy. The September 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari was a 4/1 chance for an A6 on the 16th September where she held every chance clocking 30.96 (Normal) when finishing in 5th place beaten just under five lengths by Free Passage. She was given a drop in grade for Heat 2 of the A7 Owners Bonus Series competition at 1-28 today. Sent off the 6/4 favourite she needed a first ‘three’ finish to see her qualify for the Final on Thursday 29th September. Totally missing her break she did well to finish in 3rd place clocking 31.11 (-20) 30.91 calculated when beaten just under three lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Clairekeith Sky.
DATA OLLY was an 8/1 chance for an A3 last Sunday but he was slow away and always in rear! Clocking 30.70 (Normal) he finished in 5th place beaten nine lengths by Swift Bono. The June 13 son of Head Bound clocked 36.78 calculated when beating Barnish Peter by just over four lengths in a 2-dog Trial over 575 metres at Romford last Tuesday. Although down in grade for the A4 at 11-28 Data Olly was sent off the 10/1 outsider! Suffering crowding at the second bend after a slow start he clocked 30.48 (-10) 30.38 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just over two lengths by Rocket Shot who is trained by Tony Taylor.
LISTRY ACE was always prominent and clocked 31.12 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten just over two lengths by Westberry Memoir in A8 on the 14th September. The October 12 daughter of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club was a 4/1 chance for an A8 on Wednesday but she found trouble in running! Baulked and forced to check at the 3/4 mark she finished in 5th place clocking 31.25 calculated when beaten just under five lengths by Maireads Rest. A 7/2 chance for the A8 at 11-57 ‘Grace’ suffered crowding at the first and third bends but she ran on well to grab 2nd place clocking 30.95 (-10) 30.85 calculated when beaten just over four lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Tyrur Celena.
REDSTAR POPPY was withdrawn (lame) from the D2 Sprint at 12-12 and the February 14 daughter of Kinlock Brae was a non-runner today!
