In-Form “Sizzlers Eagle” Is Flying High!

SIZZLERS EAGLE looks a star in the making for Dave and Joy Cook. He is improving fast and completed the ‘treble when winning the D1 Sprint at 12-58. The April 2013 son of Timur Blue followed up a recent Open and D1 success for his three-in-row! The youngster was sent off the 6/4 favourite and led all the way to beat the Derek Knight trained Whileyouwait by a length and a quarter! Sizzlers Eagle clocked 16.33 (-5) 16.28 calculated (his fastest) when winning for the 5th time at Hove!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Swift Messi ran another good race in the D2 Sprint at 11-11 but the 9/4 favourite had to settle for 2nd place behind the Maria Collins trained winner Maid Of The Mill. ‘Lionel’ held every chance clocking 16.82 (-10) 16.72 calculated when beaten a length and a half by the winner.
Cellini was quick away in the A5 at 11-42 but was baulked at 1/2 way and she finished just under four lengths adrift of the Derek Knight trained winner Road To Clogheen. Cellini clocked 30.93 (-20) 30.73 calculated back in 6th place.
Swift Debbie was going well in the A6 at 12-27 but found trouble at the fourth bend! She led to the third but was baulked at the fourth and finished five and a half lengths behind the Paul Garland trained winner Senorita Anita. ‘Debbie’ clocked 31.02 (-10) 30.92 calculated in 3rd place!
Anmima Madam was an A9 winner last time but she found things tougher in A8 grade at 12-41. Showing good early pace she led to the second bend but was baulked at the fourth and finished just under nine lengths behind the Paul Garland trained winner Newtown Skipella. Anmima Madam clocked 31.21 (-10) 31.11 calculated in 5th place.
