VLAD THE IMPALER held on well to beat the Stuart Maplesden trained Star Moss by a short-head in A1 grade on the 18th January! Beaten just 3/4 of a length when 2nd to Candolim Caper in an A1 on his latest outing the August 18 son of Sparta Maestro was sent off 7/4 favourite for the A2 at 8-38. Showing good early pace he led at the 1st bend and running on strongly beat the Gemma Davidson trained Stop That Ziggy by just over two lengths!  Owned by Jonathan Muller ‘Vlad The Impaler’ clocked 30.02 (-10) 29.92 calculated when winning his 11th race at Hove!
