Beaten over eight lengths by Anynewswithy on her latest run SIZZLERS JOY was sent off a 6/1 chance for the B1 at 11-52. Leading from 1/2 way the Sept 15 daughter of Head Bound ran on well to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Woodmancote Jess by almost two lengths! Owned by the late Dave Cook and Dave Staddon ‘Sizzlers Joy’ clocked 29.17 (-20) 28.97 calculated when winning for the 6th time at Hove!

Our Runners Who Made The Frame

CLOMANTAGH HOLLY was a 10/1 shot for the B5 at 10-51 but she ran far better than those odds suggested! Baulked when challenged at the 3rd bend ‘Holly’ finished in 3rd place clocking 30.26 (-30) 29.96 calculated when beaten just 1/2 a length by Disaster.

Sent off the 9/4 favourite for the B3 at 12-06 BALLINTINE PATCH made a slow start! Baulked at the 1/4 mark she clocked 29.73 (-20) 29.53 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten two and a half lengths by Bluebell Mist.
