WINNERS
Satellite Fever – his 14th win at Hove!
SATELLITE FEVER clocked 30.79 (Normal) when beating Lilli Mart a short-head in A6 grade on the 23rd April and he held every chance clocking 30.63 calculated when 5th beaten just under three lengths by Mallogs Nina up in A5 grade on the 5th May. The February 12 son of College Causeway was given a drop in grade for the A6 at 2-08 today and was sent off the 2/1 favourite! ‘Tommy’ led from the second bend and kept on well to beat his kennel mate Data Olly by 3/4 of a length! Owned by Bob Hadley, Sue Hadley & Sam Hadley he clocked 30.61 when winning for the 14th time at Hove! DATA OLLY ran on late clocking 30.86 (Normal) when finishing 3rd beaten two and a half lengths by Ballycanal Dan in A6 grade on the 5th May. The June 13 son of Head Bound was a 4/1 chance today and a slow start did not help his cause! Crowded when challenging at the third bend he clocked 30.68 when finishing in 2nd place!

Hotipp – his 21st career win!
HOTIPP clocked 30.62 calculated when 6th beaten six and a half lengths by Clairkeith Tilda in the OWNERS BONUS SERIES – FINAL on the 16th April. The June 12 son of Hondo Black ran on well after making a slow start in A5 grade on the 29th April clocking 30.77 (Normal) when 3rd beaten just one length by Hamsteronapiano and was a 5/1 chance for the A5 at 3-48. Quick away he led at the fourth bend running on to beat the Tony Taylor trained Fridays Gain by 1/2 a length! Owned by Spencer Staunton ‘Bisto’ clocked 30.47 when winning his 6th race at Hove!

RACENIGHT TRISH ran on well after making a slow start and finished 4th to Clairekeith Kiri clocking 30.82 calculated when beaten just over four lengths in A8 grade on the 1st May. The February 13 daughter of Head Bound again finished well clocking 30.93 calculated when 5th beaten just a length by Droopys Fota last Sunday. Despite making a slow start she ran on well to take advantage of the drop in grade she was given for the A9 at 6-11. A 3/1 chance she kept on gamely to beat the Paul Garland trained Newtown Ragnalof by just over a length! Owned by Norah McEllistrim ‘Trish’ clocked 30.61 when winning her 3rd race at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
WESTMEAD HUNTER clocked 36.27 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten just over three lengths by Roswell Flo Jo in a Maiden Stayers Open at Romford on the 29th April. The September 13 son of Westmead Logan returned to graded action for an A5 on the 5th May and clocked a decent 30.45 calculated when finishing 4th beaten just under four lengths by Dinner Carolina and was a 3/1 fancy for the A5 at 2-27. Westmead Hunter held every chance clocking 30.73 when finishing 3rd beaten four lengths by the Ken Tester trained winner Ballyregan Cain.
SIZZLERS APOLLO got no sort of run when 5th beaten just under four lengths by Cumann Jet on the 20th April. The September 13 son of Droopys Scolari held every chance in a D1 Sprint on the 1st May clocking 16.65 calculated when finishing 4th beaten just under two lengths by Cashontherun and lined up for the D1 Sprint at 3-07. Baulked at the first bend he clocked 16.67 when finishing in 4th place beaten four lengths by Maui Vanquish who is trained by Derek Knight.
ROCKMOUNT KATIE clocked 31.20 calculated when 3rd to Many Dreams in a 3-dog Trial over 515 metres on the 27th April. The April 14 daughter of Blackstone Gene finished 4th in A11 grade on the 30th April clocking 31.65 (Normal) when beaten just over five lengths by Myles Baby. Sent off 5/2 joint-favourite for the A11 at 3-28 ‘Katie’ was baulked on the run-up and clocked 31.47 when finishing in 5th place beaten just under six lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Dear Eeny Meeny.
DROOPYS RAMBLER clocked 16.87 (Normal) when 4th beaten just over four lengths by Guinness Brave in a D2 Sprint on his Hove debut on the 30th April. The November 14 son of Westmead Hawk ran into ‘trouble’ on his latest run and clocked 17.48 calculated when finishing 4th beaten ten and a half lengths by Brinkleys Queen and he was a 4/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 4-27. The youngster was slow away and crowded at the first bend clocking 17.17 he finished in 6th place beaten just over six lengths by Unfashionableman who is trained by Claude Gardiner.
SPIDERMAN was 9/4 favourite for a D1 Sprint on the 29th April but he suffered crowding and clocked 16.73 (Normal) when beaten just over two lengths by Ardbeg Holly. The June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay clocked 16.68 calculated when finishing 5th beaten four lengths by Caras Rosie Jean in a D1 Sprint on the 5th May and was made the 2/1 favourite for the D1 Sprint at 5-38. Holding every chance he clocked 16.75 when finishing 3rd beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Derek Knight trained winner Maireads Twirl.
