‘MIST OF TIME’ WILL BE WINNING SOON!

AND ‘SPEAK OUT LILLY’ CONTINUES IN FINE FORM! 

No winners at Hove on Sunday morning but all our runners performed well with Mist Of Time and Speak Out Lilly both beaten in photo-finishes!

Mist Of Time had run well for a long way on her previous outing and went close to opening her Hove account in the A8 at 12-27. The May 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari held every chance when beaten a short-head by the Jason Heath trained winner Riverside Belle. A 7/2 chance Mist Of Time clocked 31.44 (-50) 30.94 calculated finishing in 2nd place!

Speak Out Lilly is in great form winning two of her last three races! She went very close to adding to those successes in the A5 at 1-58 but was beaten a head by the Ken Tester trained winner Vivendi Lewis. Sent off a 4/1 chance Speak Out Lilly was quick away leading to the third bend. She was crowded but challenged again near the line clocking 31.08 (-50) 30.58 calculated in 2nd place!

Glenvale Stevie is in good form and ran another good race when beaten just over a length in the D1 Sprint at 11-11. He showed good early pace but was baulked at the first bend and clocked 16.62 (-15) 16.47 calculated finishing in 4th place behind race winner Your Decision who is trained by Paul Garland. Kennel mate Fanore Breeze was running in D1 grade for the first time and although finishing in 6th place didn’t run too badly after being baulked at the first bend! She was the 14/1 outside and clocked 16.87 (-15) 16.72 calculated when beaten just over four lengths by the winner.

Sizzlers Big Boy was sent off the 5/2 joint favourite for the A9 at 12-12 but having been baulked on the run-up he ran-on well to finish 3rd behind the Doreen Walsh trained winner Crackaway Juno. Sizzlers Big Boy clocked 31.55 (-50) 31.05 calculated when beaten just a length by the winner!

Our two runners in the D2 Sprint at 12-58 were not beaten far on a morning of near misses! Sizzlers Swallow was slow away but ran on well when beaten just over a length by the Ken Tester trained winner Queen Champ. Sizzlers Swallow clocked 17.01 (-25) 16.76 calculated when finishing in 3rd place. Millroad Jessy held every chance clocking 17.05 (-25) 16.80 calculated in 4th place beaten just under two lengths by the winner.
