A fair turn-out of club and kennel supporters were on parade last Sunday, and most availed themselves to a piece of the Horse Outside action in the finale.

As hoped, Horse made the most of a decent opportunity with a fair break and a trademark surge in the latter half of the contest. A very pleasing victory for all connected.

Wednesday’s card has Oscar (Lima Oscar) contesting another A6, at 2.47pm and Lenny (Droopys Leonard) an A2 at 3.48pm. Both are in the handicapper’s grip at present and have a ‘throw of the dice’ chance in their respective heats.

Sunday’s lunchtime Bags card has Oscar (Lima Oscar) taking yet another poke at an A6 at 11.43pm.

Later on the card Horse Outside faces some A3 big guns in the 13.27pm. Our recent winner would need to match his best Nevill Road clockings to double up on last week’s A4 success.
