‘Jack’ Gets “Club” Back To Winning Ways!

WINNERS
INDEPENDENT JACK – his 13th Win for the Club!
The Norah Mac Racing Club celebrated their last win when INDEPENDENT JACK beat Eyed Lands Girl by just over two lengths in a D2 Sprint on the 26th July. Ultra consistent the striking brindle had performed well in three D1 grade outings since but the August 13 son of Kinloch Brae, given a drop in grade last night, got the ‘Racing Club’ back to winning ways in the D2 Sprint at 9-57. Sent off the 6/4 favourite ‘Jacko’ was quick away and always led when beating the Doreen Walsh trained Roffey Bullet by two lengths! Owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club Independent Jack clocked 16.51 (Normal) when winning his 13th race at Hove and takes the ‘Club’ total to 158 wins!

‘SPIDERMAN’ WINS AGAIN AT HOVE!
SPIDERMAN beat Stellars Avenger in the Heats of a HOVE THURSDAY 500 SPRINT ‘Open’ Competition but he could only manage 3rd place in the Final where he was beaten six lengths by the impressive winner Broadstrand Kiwi who is trained by Paul Young. Back in graded action for the D1 Sprint at 8-02 the June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay, who has an impressive strike-rate at Hove, resumed his winning ways! Although suffering crowding at the 1st bend the 9/2 chance led out the turn and keeping on strongly beat the Jason Heath trained Droopys Schnozz by a length and a half! Spiderman who is owned by Mr J. Ford clocked 16.53 (Normal) when winning his 22nd race at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
Our two runners for the D1 Sprint at 7-31 last night were both sent off 5/2 joint-favourites! FANORE FLYER held every chance and clocking 16.76 (Normal) the April 15 son of Vans Escalade finished in 3rd place beaten two and a half lengths by Droopys Perfect who is trained by Seamus Cahill. Kennel mate SIZZLERSCHEYENNE was slow away and he was baulked at the 1st bend! Finishing in 5th place the August 12 son of Hondo Black clocked 16.93 (Normal) when beaten just under five lengths by the winner.
ASSERT was a 4/1 chance for the A10 at 8-18 where the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace came from well off the pace to finish in 2nd place! Clocking 31.02 (Normal) he was beaten just a ‘neck’ by the Jason Heath trained winner Forgoodnesssake. Kennel mate BALLYSTEEN STAR was also a 4/1 chance and the July 14 daughter of Droopys Scolari was quick away and led from the 2nd bend to the 3/4 mark! Finishing in 3rd place she clocked 31.07 (Normal) when beaten just 3/4 of a length by the winner.
