Despite making slow starts the June 13 son of Head Bound stays on well in his races and he clocked 30.31 when finishing 3rd beaten just over a length by Shirleys Whiskey on the 6th December. He finished 2nd in A4 grade last Thursday clocking 30.32 when beaten 1/2 a length by Millbrook Star. It was a similar story for Data Olly today in the A4 at 4-27. He was crowded on the run-up but ran-on well clocking 30.62 (-30) 30.32 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten just 1/2 a length by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Dinner Hampden.

GARRISON MADRID was a 10/1 chance when beaten just over six lengths by Elusive Kate in A9 grade last Thursday. The June 12 daughter of Cashen Zig has not won in nineteen outings and was given a drop in grade for the A10 at 5-07. ‘Mildred’ disputed the lead from the 2nd bend and clocked 31.49 (-30) 31.19 calculated when beaten just over one length by the Paul Garland trained Ardrath Apollo and that ellusive first win may not be far away!

RACENIGHT TRISH won an A6 beating Guinness Dream on the 11th November but the February 13 daughter of Head Bound has recently been running over a longer trip. She finished 4th to Quivers Cuzco in a 695 metre Open race at Hove on the 26th November and was made 3/1 favourite on her return to 515 metres for the A6 at 5-56. She made a slow start but ran on well to finish 2nd to the Jason Heath trained Spirit General clocking a decent 30.76 (-30) 30.46 calculated when beaten just two lengths by the winner.

The June 11 son of Goldmine Ramble was sent off 9/4 favourite for an A3 last Thursday and he justified those odds with a stunning run clocking 30.09 – the fastest time of the night! He beat Quivers Reef by almost four lengths and is put up in grade for the A2 at 6-11.
