‘Judicial Babe’ Wins Again At Hove!
IT’S A 13th HOVE WIN FOR JUDICIAL BABE AS SHE CLOCKS HER FASTEST TIME!
Wednesday 26th March HOVE Report
Winner
Thirteen turned out to be lucky for the Burhill Buzy Bees, owners of JUDICIAL BABE, as she won her 13th race at Hove and recorded her fastest time over the 515 metres in the process! The February 2011 daughter of Hondo Black made it two wins on the trot as she followed up her win from last Friday. Judicial Babe showed early pace and soon led in the A8 at 3-28 and stayed on well to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Other Bishop by a length and a half! Returning a generous 6/1 starting price she clocked her fastest ever time of 30.53 (-10) 30.43 calculated.
How Our Other Runners Fared
Droopys Margaret is still finding life tough at present and after a slow break she was crowded at the third bend in the A5 at 2-27. She clocked 31.12 (-10) 31.02 calculated when finishing 6th beaten 7 lengths by the Wendy Short trained Jays Pixie.
We had two runners in the D1 sprint at 5-22 and they were both baulked as four dogs came together at the first bend. The Dean Childs trained Coolavanny Muir got a solo around the outside and beat Hanover Lady just over four lengths. Hanover Lady clocked 16.88 (-5) 16.83 calculated in 2nd place as On Your Lonesome clocked 16.94 (-5) 16.89 calculated a further 3/4 of a length back in 3rd.
Avite Becky showed early pace in the A8 at 3-48 and disputed the lead and was only beaten one length by the Maria Collins trained winner Berkshire Hodgo. Avite Becky clocked 30.98 (-10) 30.88 calculated in 3rd place.
The drop in grade helped Lobelia in the A6 at 5-56 and she showed an improvement on recent form when finishing 3rd. Lobelia was quick away and led to the run in clocking 30.53 (-10) 30.43 calculated before being beaten just over 2 lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained Get On Katie.
Watch Matt held every chance in the A5 at 4-27 despite finishing 5th behind the Ken Tester trained winner Feora Lark. Sent off the 2/1 favourite Watch Matt clocked 31.10 (-10) 31.00 calculated.
Graiguenoe Royal was beaten just over six lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained Beenleigh Munich in the A5 at 5-07. He was crowded at the first bend and clocked 30.80 (-10) 30.70 in 5th place.
