14th HOVE WIN FOR CAUSE OF JUSTICE!

Saturday 17th January 2015  –  HOVE Report

Winner

A good 2nd last week and a decent 480 metre trial at Wimbledon on Wednesday had put the talented CAUSE OF JUSTICE spot on for the A3 at 9-07. The January 2012 son of College Causeway was always handy and ran on well to collar the Wayne Wrighting trained Woodmancote Tim by a short-head on the line! Owned by the Jury Of Ten syndicate ‘Alfie’ clocked a fast 30.01 (Normal) when winning his 14th race at Hove. He also has a Swindon success on his card!

How Our Other Runners Fared

Veteran Swift Messi ran a cracker in the D1 Sprint at 7-31 when beaten just 1/2 a length by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Geneva Colin. Running on well ‘Lionel’ clocked 16.84 (Normal) in 2nd place! The Racing Clubs Leathems Desire was slow away and held up at the second bend but ran on well clocking 16.85 (Normal) in 3rd place just a short-head behind his kennel mate!

Judicial Babe held every chance in the A7 at 7-46 when finishing 2nd to the Wendy Short trained winner Ajax Freya. Judicial Babe clocked 30.72 (Normal) beaten one and a half lengths by the winner.

Release The Ace was baulked at the second bend in the A5 at 8-02 and never recovered the ground finishing in 6th place. He clocked 31.08 (Normal) when beaten around four lengths by the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Demonised Oonah.

Another slow start put Ballymac Tonya under pressure in the A8 at 10-30. She was beaten six lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Elijahs Dream. ‘Tonya’ clocked 31.25 (Normal) finishing in 4th place!

There was a similar fate for Baby Sky in the Wimbledon 687 Stayers Open race. She was bumped at the first bend and was beaten just under ten lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Zulu Baran. Baby Sky clocked 43.29 (-15) 43.14 calculated finishing in 6th place.

SUNDAY LUNCH-TIME AT HOVE!

Sunday 18th January 2015  –  HOVE Runners

Ballymac_Chindit

Ballymac Chindit  –  Drops in class!

Well beaten in a Sittingbourne Open last Sunday but Ballymac Chindit should have every chance in the D1 Sprint at 11-28.

Beaten favourite when trying to make all last Saturday Monleek Diamond would go close in the A5 at 12-12 if producing her best form!

Boskill Breeze was well beaten on her last two runs and will need to improve in the A9 at 12-41.

Lobelia and Castleview Madge are both returning from a long absence and may need the run in the D2 Sprint at 12-58.

Swift Debbie has good early pace and should have every chance in the A6 at 1-12. While Cellini gets a drop in grade and is never far away at this level.

Intayacynthia was well beaten last time after finding trouble in running! She cannot afford any hold ups in the A8 at 1-28.
