How Our Other Runners Fared
BABY GOLD was looking for a clear run in A6 grade last Saturday but sadly she was baulked on the run-up and the February 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari clocked 31.03 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten five lengths by Trappers Man. She was a late addition to the A6 at 6-44 last night with connections hoping for a better run this time! Sadly that was not to be as ‘Gold’ was baulked and fell at the first bend! She picked herself up and completed but was beaten a distance by the Derek Knight trained winner Toadegree. Jackie Thomas who heads the Jaytee Syndicate reported this morning that Baby Gold will be visiting vet Daniel Doherty today for a thorough check over!
