BALIBO MAGS  –  ‘Queen’ of the Balibo’s!

BALIBO MAGS made a winning return after injury beating the Richard Yeates trained Optimus Prime by almost three lengths in D3 grade on the 27th February! A runner-up on her latest start the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga was sent off a 5/2 chance for the D3 Sprint at 9-08 where kennel mates Balibo Ruby and Balibo Bonnie were among her rivals! Hugging the rails ‘Mags’ led at the 2nd bend and kept on well to beat the Matthew Dartnall trained Kemerton by a length and a half!  Owned by the Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate ‘Balibo Mags’ clocked 17.05 (-15) 16.90 calculated when winning her 13th race at Hove! BALIBO RUBY was a bit unlucky as she totally missed her break! Running on well she clocked 17.28 (-15) 17.13 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten just under three lengths by the winner. Racing wide and baulked on the run-in BALIBO BONNIE finished in 4th place beaten four and a half lengths.

TOKYO JOE lost his position after making a fast start in the D2 Sprint at 6-44 but running on well he clocked 16.92 (-20) 16.72 calculated when finishing in 2nd place beaten just a length by Mistletoe Diva.
